And finally, something really new for those who’ve read this far. I’m working hard on my next game. “Daria: A Kingdom Simulator” That’s right, we’ll get to see the founding of Daria where you will take a small tribe of a few people and create a full kingdom with nearly every type of building you can think of. This is a resource management sim game, not a regular Interactive Fiction story.

My life is incomplete before Half Life 3 is released.
The plot details are still in development, but it’s becoming interesting. Although Daria is founded by humans, I think we’ll see some introductions and some interesting lore included.
I have no control over that one.

What sort of game will it be? 
Is it going to be one where the player has to build the town and the town’s buildings, by gathering resources. Or something else. Worried the game might be quite grindy.

It’s not interactive fiction. This isn’t a regular story. It’s a game. My stories have more gamelike elements than most others, but this one is all-the-way into the game side of the spectrum.

It’s a resource manager game. You’ll start with nothing and start collecting things. You’ll process these things into more things. You’ll build structures to make this go faster and unlock better things.
Meanwhile, random things and battles will occur. Intertwined through the whole thing will be a story about Daria’s early days.
It reminds me of Civilization and all of those other resource manager type games. A little like Warcraft (the good ones, before WOW… yesh, milord) and Starcraft too.
Nope. As you know, I rarely do demos. I like to get something working and pretty far along first. I’m not a fan of mid-production beta testing either, since I worry that people won’t see through the incompleteness, although with a game like this, I’ll probably have to start testing before it’s entirely done so I can clear up bugs before it goes too far.
But no, there are no dates yet. I’ve shared a lot of details at Lucid's Games | Patreon but I wasn’t going to share it here for awhile except that someone asked about Kingdom Simulators so I couldn’t stay quiet. My Patreon peeps will get first shot at beta too, but don’t worry, when the time comes, I’ll get everyone invited since it helps to produce better games.

Last Wizard is settling into a respectable 4.6 (with short jumps to 4.7) on Google, which is great. I put a lot into this game, wanting it to be the best. Overall, it seems to be well received, even though some of my fans miss my old style. Here’s a poll to celebrate: The Last Wizard - #355 by Lucid
My new game, Daria: A Kingdom Simulator (WIP), is something completely different altogether. It’s a flat out game. I spent a full day fixing bugs. 
It might be closer than I think, but it’s hard to tell, with those bugs still in it.
And finally, The Lost Heir Trilogy will have the Legacy Advantage coming out soon. September 9th is the date, unless anything’s changed. I had fun bringing the wizard from Life of a Wizard into the game. I can’t wait for everyone to see how that went. Also, remember that its main goal is as a stat bump option. Casual players will get a chance to become extremely powerful now.

Technically, the purchase goes through LH1 and then runs through the others, so they’ll receive updates, but no additional purchases.
Great, now all we need is to replay the game 30 times again but at “now with legacy” to all of them

I personally loved the TLHT and im excited to have discovered that it’s getting an expansion or whatever it is haha
It’s a dlc, you will find more about your ancestor (the me from life of a wizard) and they will help you in your journey. But you will awaken a powerful enemy too.
