I’m sorry Halloween wasn’t your cup of tea-- and I hear everything you are saying, mostly because the things you point out were actually what we had set out to do-- create a completely separate adventure that could almost be a stand alone game in it of itself. We did this entirely for the purpose of seeing if me and co-author @MacRea could actually write together-- and we proved this so it’s a success in that fact. We knew some would love it, and others not so much. 🤷
Anyway the more important thing in your comment that I wanted to address is that future DLCs from us will follow one of two formats: either like Halloween be a separate adventure within the game that could initof itself be its own game OR as you stated a smaller expansion that kind of weaves throughout the game. Our standing plan for WWU2’s DLC has always been to expand the romance and the classroom options, and that will be what we work on once 3 is done. 3’s DLC will have elements of more romance in it from 2’s DLC, as well as Semryus Past Life regression with the MC.
In summary, we’ll have a bit of both for those who liked Halloween, and something for those who don’t.
As far as the Red endings…it’s something I hope to address, as writing solo the game got away from me and I couldn’t deal with all the branches and had to trim for sanity. Now, with Mac, we’ll see. We’ve already got a lot we want to do and while we’d love to do everything we are sadly only human
could our MC be an incarnation of one of the twelve? More specifically the ultimate way. Because that honestly makes sense given all of our choices and things regardless of if we focus on that route or not, I mean it’s the ultimate way. It encompasses everything. If you wanted to do an incarnation of one of the twelve with our MC it would probably have to be that one. So that way it would work with everyone’s choices.

I’m not sure why you think the MCs past life was the “strongest Rosin”? The MC was just a powerful Rosinic, I never indicated that they were anything more than that. 🤷
And even if a Past Life was powerful, that doesn’t mean they were or could be an Avatar…there’s actually a decent amount of pretty powerful Walkers and Talents in the WW world as a generalality-- hence why a 14yr old Talent isn’t killing dragon wraiths on their own.
Ok ok I have one thing to say that is still disturbing my mind which is my last question, how on earth is jun good at history through his past life but the protagonist can not be a badass at killing a dragon wraith with magic through his own past life;) @WayWalkerLeigh
Because the MC doesn’t remember their past life as clearly and ALSO That s not Jun’s past self being good at history, that’s Jun’s past self literally telepathically manipulating Cael. Again, Jun is a special case as their past self is kinda alot

I feel like MC, after remember their past self should get a boost to magic stat. Well obviously only if they remember too. I have two saves. One where MC and Jun now hate each other. MC is made at Jun because Jun broke off their friendship like it was nothing and hates Jun now because, in their opinion, what kind of person does that? A person who they don’t need to be their friend that’s who. And in the other route my MC and Jun are the closest confidants and helped set Jun up. Both routes MC is dating Sem so… that says a lot about my fave character. So I know very well MC could end up never remembering.
Oh and is their a route to hang out with Sem in the halloween DLC instead of Jun and Ay’cura? I litterally just got the DLC thanks to christmas and played through that route so I was curious
Hmm I remember having strong suspicions that the MC was actually the reincarnated lost red child, and that their return to their other half would somehow reveal the true purpose of the red or bring balance or something. I thought it would be cool if they had been resurrected alongside their counterpart, even more so if they were awakened but the MC wasn’t yet. So weird but I was fully convinced at some point haha.
Yes, just choose to not go with Jun. Or be enemies with Jun.
@Gshen – sorry, no. The Red went mad and he’s trapped in the Pit. Also very, very not OKAY lol. The Twin Flame does still get incarnated though…she’s… unhappy…
