That part is just character gen. Wanted to try something different instead of ‘tell me what you’re good at’.
God, it’s been so long since I was last in this forum.
One; I have to say those puzzles were brilliant! Though I have to wonder why the Hell it took me so long to figure out that message, it was actually pretty simple! Also, with that bomb? Awesome.
I failed the bomb thrice. the first time because I was stupid, the second time was the first in reverse, the third was a bit of a WTF moment for me, because I was sure I got it right, though I was close that time.
After I FINALLY got it right, I celebrated, silently, since as I write it’s 11:47 where I am, and the neighbors would be PISSED.
Hope to see equally awesome and challenging future content.
Two; Dear God, why does the base hate me and my so much? OK, fine, I went AWOL with the President stuff, my team is composed of the traitor’s former teammates, the traitor is my girlfriend, and I have a war hero as a mom, but seriously, WHY?
Ok, let me celebrate 'cause I just learned how to use the spoiler text.
Three; Will my choices during the interview after a certain attack by a certain person have a large affect on how the higher-ups see me? Will they monitor me more? Special mention to the choice between fighting Morgan or listening to orders.

Four: Is it okay if I expect even more armors from now on? I’m a bit of a power suit fan…
Five; I like the new save system.

You said it, not me. Also if you went AWOL, you caused a visiting dignitary to get injured thus making things bad for your country in general.

I’m making it so that certain choices will be available to you in future chapters. I’m also trying to figure out where to put certain other non-attacking choices in the chapter where you can choose to fight or restrain Morgan.

Three chapters left? Damn.
Now that you mention that going AWOL was a really bad idea, I’m gonna have to ask if it’s possible to at least patch it up to a certain extent. And was it even possible to stop the beasts from taking what they actually wanted (the shards)? This strange voice in the back of my head that’s been bugging me to do a replay and get it right this time is quite tempting.
Just wanted to say i love this wip and looking forward to the update that im about to start.

Hey, found a little mistake, after I decide to follow the beast and then draw its attention to me. I think it has to do with the larry male choice:
“Are you sure that would work?” Larry asks you and you nod your head. It’s better than not trying anything and you are confident that your plan will work. Larry takes a deep breath and nods. “You’re the plan-maker,” he and $(larryhe} goes into hiding as you draw your combat shotgun and take careful aim at the Fiend. You fire a few shots at it, hitting its torso and arm several times. On the seventh hit, the Beast has had enough and turns around to look for the cause of its irritation.
And Chapter 10 is now completed. Random and quick-tested this time so it should all be in there but if it isn’t let me know. Link is below for those who don’t want to scroll up or hit the home key.

I just opened it using my password, and it gave me the ‘play again’ choices only.
So if you go to the museum during the president mission is that where you find Samar?
Well, I just replayed it from the beginning.
Any notes on the consequences of Edgar getting arrested as the traitor?

I love the update 
And since Morgan is still a walking spoiler (and there are some requests to @Grapefruit somewhere in there as well) I really like that I finally got the opportunity to confirm that Morgan’s still present in his body (on the fiends path). There is one thing in the new updates that for as far as I’m concerned has some room for improvement though. Since he seems the most interesting person this far I choose to hang out with Larry a lot, and there is some degree of mutual attraction, but my MC is still in love with Morgan, and I really wish there was an opportunity to tell Larry something along the lines of that things could’ve worked out between the two of them under other circumstances, but since your heart is still with Morgan you really can’t date him right now, instead of just brushing him off without any further explanation.

@Cecilia_Rosewood Added your suggestion to both Larry and Samar’s side. On a slightly bigger retcon, I’ve also kicked Altug upstairs to Captain, given what the function she serves in the story and the MACO has been renamed to something a little more thematic with the vehicle names in the story so far.
There’s one little thing I want to point out about that. When you use that option with Larry (haven’t tried Samar’s side yet, so I don’t know if it’s the same there) you have to explain to him that you had a thing for Morgan before, even though Larry has already mentioned that he knew about your relation with Morgan a while before that. It’s a minor inconsistency.

Hm, somebody new here to the whole forum thing, but anyway, I wanted to tell @Grapefruit that I really like this WIP, especially the characters; honestly it is very rare that ALL characters of a cast qualify as interesting in my eyes, but you somehow did that. I like how the whole team dynamic is noticeable different depending on which team mates one choses in the beginning…okay that may should be a logical consequence, but not all games include the characterization of the different cast members that naturally in the story, so it stands out positive, at least for me.
But besides the praise I also want to use the opportunity to help you a little bit with proof reading:

Not sure if that counts really as spoiler, but just in case. „Die Liebesgeschicht von das Weltall” is pretty faulty when it comes to German grammar. „Die Liebesgeschichte des Weltalls“ would be grammatically correct, though I can’t say for sure if that’s 100% the meaning you are looking for…

Also during the 3rd chapter after the nightmare, when the MC has a crush on Morgan but isn’t in a relationship the option to tell them about the dream the game just sends me to a blank site with the other options. With the MC either in a relationship or just friends with Morgan this doesn’t occurs.

In chapter 9: “This will only end in a fight, no matter how hard you want it to be otherwise,” he says, his tone} neutral and then he launches himself at you.
Ok so I’m either overthinking it or I’m just an idiot or both but I can’t figure out the bomb disarming in chapter 9

@masterx Think rainbows with a touch of goth. If not, just re-read the large clue list that’s presented in game. I’m pretty certain you’ll figure it out eventually.
Oh right, that was an other inconsistency I ran in to. I never even saw the bomb, but somehow when I get back at the base people are a lot less hostile towards me, which they were because of the Morgan event, and praise me for my involvement in defusing the bomb.
