Really good start to the story. The pacing of the writing feels pretty good, not too rushed, like other stories tend to be - no artificial liking the “random” new people the mc meets. My Ares is a mix of angry an somewhat lonely, and didn’t believe in this whole “family” thing, so she took the money and left, which felt like an organic path for her. Really well done, can’t wait for more.

For those who’d like I made a Franco one shot. Its 4.7k words, entirely non-canon (and unedited), but does have canon aspects. and its romantic, of course. I’ll put it in the main post maybe, but for now I’m not able to edit it… I’ll probably contact someone about that because I know I used to be able to. Anyway.

I’ve replayed this demo so many times, it’s absolutely crazy.
My main MC isn’t a “perfect” Ares by any means. He hates himself for his outbursts, so when Sig said, “They’re wrong about you,” I started bawling. Not literally, but… she gets him like no one else from Elysium rn. I can’t wait to disappoint Jackie—it’ll be hilarious. And I’m absolutely curious what was their reaction after MC just left the meeting. They were in shock, but there had to be some talk about this “weirdly behaving” god of war?
Anyway, I’m swinging my legs impatiently, especially now after Franco’s side story. And I can’t wait to meet Harper… Will I cry? Oh, I’m pretty sure I will. Will it be worth the pain? I hope so.

Granted, Riley was flipping from she to he few times here and there.
Edit: Playing a high reasoning, calm and serious run. Middle pathway of bold vs shy type as well.

Thatd be difficult. I play as a woman and Riley as one. I do remember the hallway scene right before the Elysium arena fight with Roth was definite. I would have to flip thru but I think that was the major area. I think was used 98% of the time right outside of that moment. Definitely was hallway. The chat about the Wallet and her bff Mitch convo.

Oof. I know what happened with the code and have fixed it. but you’ll need to do a full restart/delete your saves. I haven’t patched it yet but it shouldn’t happen again if you don’t load your previous saves. (its a weird thing in the coding and with how dashingdon does stuff. but since this is the only instance where it happens you should be fine if you do a restart without loading a prev save.)

Edit: I went back and found the same fault in my code for when picking Riley’s gender. So I’ve fixed that as well. I’ll patch it soon and make sure this doesn’t happen again. Thanks for letting me know!
