Yeah the complexity is the biggest issue I am going to have with this…“oh you said this to this person, so now they don’t like you as much and are less likely to help you, but that gained favor with this other person who doesn’t like person 1” and “you did this action which resulted in this death or this outcome” and almost any variation thereof…
I know that booleans (not sure if I spelled that right) are going to quickly become my best friend in cases like these, but I am not used to using them and am having to self teach on the fly.
I don’t even mess with tabs lol it just got to be too big of a pain in the ass and so I just keep track of how many spaces. That part usually doesn’t give me any hassle.
Okay! So, I THINK I have gotten rid of all the game crashing bugs now. Emphasis on think. It should work just fine, it has on every test that I have done.
As I am sure you know, this update includes a new origin story, the path of the Korkoro Soldier. It, as the Adanna Secretary one before it, is a rough draft and subject to editing and revision. No changes or edits have been made to the Adanna origin at this time.
Please leave comments, questions, concerns and query’s below (see what I did there?).
hmm I wonder why it did that. That should work. I will take a look at that now. Thank you.
EDIT: Okay, I think I fixed that issue. I don’t know what the problem was but I edited the boolean and tested the options and it seems to be working fine. I got no error message. I did however, find a whole mess of new problems. So I am going to work on those now.
I just played the Korkoro path and it’s awesome
Way more action packed than the first path
I knocked the block of that leonidas…and that felt gooood
On my second play through
I went to talk with the Adanna squad mates striping and cleaning weapons and I got
Line 8720: increasing indent not allowed, expected 0 was 4
Just a little note, @everyone …it seems that there is a game crashing error if you choose to talk to your Adanna squadmates as your last task before prep begins. I am having difficulty nailing down exactly where the issue is, so until I do…well, don’t do that
Yeah that’s the error it is giving me…but there is not incorrect indentation that I can find. I triple checked it, going through that section line by line. I can’t figure out what is causing the issue.
Once I had that problem and i deleted the whole section but i still got the error
later on i found out it’s because after I corrected it I forgot to save the page in notebook++
man was my face red
