Community College Hero: Releasing Soon

Thanks for the offer, @HornHeadFan, though I doubt I will have time for anything. The school has way too many events, and February is way too close to the final exam.

Hey I missed this comment.

Perhaps some beta testers will help me improve some of these. By the end of the story, there are at least 20 persona dialogue events, meaning I wrote over 80 when you factor in the four, so some of them are lamer than others.

But yeah I like them. It lets the reader add some flavor without limiting actual choices in the story, and also the fairmath bars greatly improve the look of the main stats page by breaking up all the text and numbers.

Okay I’m off for another 7 hours of tweaking and editing before the family steals my time! My precious time!

I like Wombat! That guy’s my homie!

By the way am I the only one who found a way to cheat at the HELL test and with HornHeadFan’s permission… May I share it?

If there’s some sort of flaw that lets you ace it without knowing the material, yeah tell me so I can fix it. I’m working on the game right now.

No its not a flaw its just copying down the answers to the questions. Although I am probably not the first person to do that…

does anyone know how to get tress’ secret

No you are not. :3 I’ve done the same for the last few months.

When you meet Tress at the supermarket accept to come to her place for dinner and after dinner suggest playing ‘I’ve never’ some drinking game. That’s how i got the secret.

@Rebelgirl thank you

Here’s an elaboration on @rebelgirl’s (correct) post.

Admittedly that only works on readers who aren’t trying to romantically pursue Tress at the time because she’s more guarded with potential romantic interests and doesn’t let her hair down (pun intended) to play the game.

However, there is another scene after the press conference where anyone, regardless of their intentions or sexual orientation, can go to Tress’s apartment and can find out her secret, but ONLY if they have been to her apartment before in the first date/hangout scene. So basically if you’re dating Tress, this is your chance to get her secret

So basically if you over-perv on Tress at the beginning or insult her, you can’t learn her secret.

Interesting…I didn’t knew you had another chance than that first one. Thanks

It should be there. At least it’s coded and it passed testing. It’s when everyone is concerned about Tress after the press conference and they’re talking about someone trying to track her down.

Can anyone confirm that they got Tress’s secret from doing it the second way?? I haven’t manually played through that option.

I got Tress’ secret using the second way. At least I did a while back.

Is the beta testing going to be open like the demo?

Well @HornHeadFan with a final that could change everything I just have to be apart of the beta whenever there is an open spot. Fades into the shadows to train the grim reaper’s undead army

@CaballeroDeAndromeda, thanks for confirming that. And did you get busted or did you pull it off all slyly?

@SpiritWolf91 and @Reaper_General, beta is closed now - I have almost 70 testers. If there’s a big issue in beta, I might reopen it for more help but for now we’re jam packed.

That’s cool just remember the reaper is watching so let me know when a place is open no rush. See ya boss horn man

I was as nimble as a cat. lol. I managed to print them but I’ll admit that in my first try I thought Tress was giving me some signals… Crashed and burned. Just in case I replayed the demo real quick and managed to get the secret once again using the “second method”.

Yeah, you can always ace the HELL test if you learn the material in an earlier play through and then pick the correct answers without studying. I thought that was cool, though… some people do cheat, and some people do get good grades without studying, and in theory you could have passed those classes by reading the material they gave you and understanding it on your own.
