I think it’s prolly a matter of suspension of disbelief,Ishtar is prolly extremely fast and it’s true that sometimes it feels to bé more than Mach 4 so ig it’s the author’s choice.But well lot of Fables can avoid Dawn praetors lasers I think so either her lasers are slow(The Kizaru syndrome🤣) or the Fables just anticipate from her movements.

My theory is that her flight speed is infinite but she didn’t actually need to push faster than that or she is afraid everything will be destroyed if she flew so fast. Kinda like omniman, the atmosphere will start to burn. The fastest man made weapon is a re-entering ICBM warhead which is pushing like mach 25 to 30. So humans can make weapons that are faster than fables.

@WyattTheLurker @Cooldude89979. Yeah you guys are correct lol i did a quicj playthrough and yeah i was mistaken. Summarida i forget the exact spelling acctually mentions the character and it was not far after what i said happened so supsect sleep playing had me thinking she was appart of the list. Will do a slower play through to see what is said or hinted at before but if she isnt dead it would be likely i think to at least suspect that they may help with timur. That would be a hope lol so im curious to see how the author puts things out for us all to see.

In a lot of stories low mach speed people don’t dodge the weapon, they dodge the person firing the gun. Unless it’s Star Wars then it’s actually easy and you don’t need Mach speed
Yes I know that’s an effect to make the audience see the bolt. And it’s actually supposed to be 60m/s in the animation but Mach 6 in the story

Ishtar is good but only once through Chapter 1.
They all are good. Except not went thru Athurs story but many posts i seen. Sounds like he was done quite well.

yes author answered it on tumblr before stating this “SWK could theoretically do anything any other shapeshifter could do. That’s what being a true shifter means in Broken Fable. So, in short, yes, you will be able to go full Godzilla.”

Yeah I still think Ishtar is the best character. Sun Wukong gets clapped by budhha, while Ishtar kills Ares with her bare hands. She is more of a Chad than all the others. And sun Wukong at this point is over saturated even in Hosted games space. Ishtar is a breath of fresh air, so yeah she is the best fable to play as.

but…sun wukong is really strong cause he is balanced, he can travel thousands of kilometers with a jump, destroy mountains with ease, he can create clones with the same strength, he knows martial arts, can transform into anything, what I mean is that he is versatile, from most situations you can think of, Wukong could come out intact thanks to his wide range of techniques. Except against Buddha and knowing that Buddha is one of the most powerful in ALL mythologies…so yeah he is a great (kinda nerfed) fable.

Well tbf Bouddha clap all of the Fables.However the author did mention Ishtar is a Bad matchup for Wukong tho she’d be crippled with ppl like Lucifer or maybe Zeus with their thunders.

i thought the author said that SWK had to observe the creature or material first in order to transform in to it but i may be wrong.

Maybe wukong sees a movie and uses that to transform lmfao. I do think he’s got to observe it or maybe not with something like a dragon.

All the fables beat Ares and they’re all outclassed by Buddha. Their power levels are more or less equal so in a match up, it’s more like rock paper scissors. Zeus beats Pele, Pele beats Arthur, Arthur beats Lucifer, Lucifer beats Ishtar etc.

Lucifer’s powers activate and finish within less than a second so they very well could cripple Ishtar before she gets to them. Same applies to Janus if they activate their time stop ability or if they can use their clairvoyance to manipulate events to beat Ishtar before she uses her powers. Her speed can easily crush the Praetors because they don’t have the supernatural toughness the other immortals have. Up against Timur (who absorbed the lives and powers of millions) and Buddha (who can manipulate space and create bindings) the fight is more evened out. Ishtar is the fastest sure but she’s not as invincible as you make her out to be.

You are forgetting one thing. Ishtar can literally fly out of range. It’s stated that Lucifer cannot fully control a person and can be stopped by external force. Even if somehow crippled Ishtar mid flight, she is going to crash into Lucifer even in a crippled state at the speed of mach 4 or more.
And how is that? Care to explain?
