its ok another moderator noticed what happened and contacted me asking me to explain why i was angry so we chatted for awhile she didn’t believe me at first so we went back and thourth in a conversation until we made a agreement i wouldn’t ask about the updated anymore and i agreed then she over ruled the other moderators flag restoring my post even fixing it up were i made mistakes in my post, she said it was to long so she tidied it up.

Ishtar’s backstory is… My god💀. Any other backstory that’s as good as this one? In my opinion its the better one because it feels more real and it’s a goddess whose gender is set, so it feels well written.

Ok so Ishtar’s flight speed is Mach 4 but honestly it’s kind of not true. The speed at which she does things should put her at Mach 5 to 7 at least, because mach 4 is not even hypersonic and I am pretty sure she goes hypersonic. What’s worse after further reading, she is definitely breaking the high hypersonic barrier. And her flight also created the grand canyon which mach 4 cannot do. To do something like that the speed required is closer to mach 100 or more. This is weird. Am I wrong?

Lol yes and no on you being wrong part far as i recall it wasnt the flight that caused the grandcanyon but the fight itself she was haveibg with ares/alexander. As to the mach speed i dont recall what the story says so wont comment exactly on that part what i will say is this. Does it really matter the symantics of what speed constitutes hypersonic? When she moves faster than any normal human can possibly hope to do unaided and most metas cant hope to match her speed ether.
Just some food for thought.

Seriously what the hell? Ishtar outsped 50 lasers and she is still mach 4? She is FTL at this point. I hope the author sees my reply.

Consider this: The lasers created by that power clearly aren’t lightspeed-fast, considering every Fable is capable of dodging or countering them.

Ishtar is capable of doing what the Author wants Ishtar to do. The numbers don’t actually matter. I mean, godspeed, do your thing. But I personally don’t understand the point of debating it.
Especially in a world where Sun WuKING exists, and their powers alone would give physicists, chemists and biologists a stroke, all that in one go.

I don’t care if ‘wuKING’ exists or not. Ishtar is still the best out of all of them. So you are saying that the mach 4 is false and the author will not change it but it’s still more fast?

we are not speaking for the author so guess you really wont be satisfied until the author speaks on the subject. :: shrugs :: who knows they might tweak the wording to suffice your need for this aspect to be real world accurate.

Sure no problem like said before its very nearly at the end of the current demo. its the scene page where buddah is dying at the hand of timur very easy to miss he speaks of seeing them and the others listed again as in the way of death basically.

Just played as Pele and went full scorched earth in the battle, and now I can absolutely confirm that it was the most terrifyingly OP fight I’ve seen in an IF. Wow! As for the Monkey King, all that transforming then turning into a dog to mess with the fighters and then blowing up a bloody mountain was hilarious lol

I believe you’ve mixed up Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi.
Well considering that it doesn’t matter which MC you chose, the grand canyon still got created as a result of the fight, we can guess that its a combination of Ares’ potent fire slashes and MC’s attacks. I mean unless you can believe Janus can do that by themselves
She didn’t outsped the lasers, she maneuvered around them, they’re not Darkseid lasers that automatically track her movements, but an actual person is manually controlling the laser with their hands which means they had to also react to her movements which definitely helped in giving her time to dodge.

Yeah, I think Wyatt is right here. I think you mixed them up. I don’t think the story (so far) tells the reader if Amaterasu is still alive or not. Who knows, she could be one of the main protagonists along with the MC and Atilla.
