I forget their names but there was at least two games where you played as a robot and could decide how to respond to humanity and your fellow robots. One had different models of robots that were defined as different genders, though the players could decide to have themselves question that. Each gender including non binary had two possible occupations that could change the story opening, though the writer only managed to do two origins - female secretary and male soldier - before it was abandoned.

again, 7 days in purgatory, last time I posted here people said the author was going to update in halloween or something and it was like 10 years ago. such a shame, it was one of the few really interesting stories out there.

I should probably explain that there are 2 reasons why this probably is never going to happen:
first I just burnt out, I set my scope far too high and could not cope with the complexity.
second, gw changed their Terms and conditions explicitly forbidding production of games using their ip.
All in all that would require a total rework of 300k words to streamline systems and to make it not geedubs ip.

Lord of Aswick has been abandoned.
The project kept getting shelved and restarted several times throughout the years. Bob Middleton brought it back for a little while 5 years ago, but it got shelved again and he hasn’t been on the forum since.
There’s still a glimmer of hope that it makes a grand return and gets published…but at this point, it’s probably done for good.
Bob has been open, to an extent, about certain health problems, but that’s all I know. I hope the guy’s alive and well at least.

I’d love for power grab to be brought back to life I think it’s been a year or less but I absolutely loved the concept of the book and thought the ability to take others powers was soooo cool and interesting both for the story and ethics wise
