When In Rome! It was one of my first WIP reads here, back when I still had my old account and not this one.
Team Zero will always be my favorite though. It was alive a few months ago if I remember correctly, but it died again…
And then there’s this story (forgot the title) where you’re a ghost stuck in your old house and a new family moves in. Showed a lot of promise, but I never saw it again.
Well @Dolphinzgirl is a greedy amoral American litigator, so maybe if we can crowdfund enough to pay her hourly rates maybe we could resurrect it. Unless she works for the state or the judiciary I guess, then we’re flat out of luck.
It is indeed. There have been some significant fundamental changes over the past year in particular (mostly to better conform to various CoG guidelines, and also to further develop the various character Backgrounds), but the gist of the game remains pretty much the same. I’m hoping to release a new Demo in the not-too-distant future which will include lots of these changes, although the cut-off point at the end of Chapter 1 will remain the same for the actual public Demo.
The final beta test will of course use the same save system as last time - it’s ideal for beta testing purposes! - but will hopefully include some additional useful features for submitting targeted feedback. No fixed ETA for this though - I’ll update the game’s Facebook page as & when I have more to share.
Now you’re making me remember, though I think the rebel guy was cuter, but also horribly, tragically straight, the same cruel fate you suffered in the other game.
There was this crazy one where you were adopted into a family of supernatural hunters, and moved in with your brother and his assistant and got a werewolf dog and an angel following you around- it felt so Quizilla, but good Quizilla, and I miss it.
Agh, just re-read the last couple of posts there and I think that “bomb-boy” was even cuter still, though that would have forced us into that academy to get really close to him. Ah well.
Maybe it will come back some day. You know, like the author of Vendetta is still working on it behind the scenes, away from our prying public eyes.
The Myrmidon by @Moreau , 'cause, gosh, that was just my all-time favorite WiP. Hands down. (And one of the ones that finally convinced me that I should suck it up and try and actually talk on the forums instead of just dance around from subject to subject quietly in awe of people’s talent, and shying away from ever participating in any of the discussions myself).
But, yeah, amazing writing, fantastic plot, great characters, marvelous worldbuilding, (not to mention glorious drama)… and the last post was on September of 2016.
And none of this is even mentioning the copious amount of puns in the thread itself… So. Many. Puns.
