@Samuel_H_Young I know and your game is awesome but your game is more about the demons if I made one I would try to stay away from the demon/vampire creatures. I would try to make it more orc/ogre, giant, dragon. Though your book did inspire me to write that type of story. It won’t be finished for a while but if I do make it before I try to get it published I will email it to you and if you think it is to close to your book I’ll try to make it even more different.

I don’t want to step on your writing considering your first book was so good can’t wait for the rest.
@ret922
No, that’s okay! I wasn’t saying you need my permission, just pointing out that you may enjoy TotDH, which you apparently did
that’s amazing to hear that it inspired you. The sequel should be finished sometime in the summer

@Samuel_H_Young I’m just wondering but do you still have the coded copy of your game my is giving me trouble and I was wondering if I could see an example? I’m trying to follow the examples that the they give under make you own games but it keeps saying I’m doing something wrong.
@ret922
I’ll let you see my startup scene later
1.anything with GOOD necromancy(hopefully neighbourhood necromancer will cover that)
2.a game about being a werewolf
3.i also agree with having a steampunk game
4.a battle royale/hunger games/arena type of game; where you are faced with a kill or die scenario and have to decide between trusting or betraying your friends and enemies.
5.a super soldier game(think captain america or deathstroke)
6.a pirate game
7.a game about being a villain(hopefully choice of the villain will cover this)
8.a game about a primitive(perhaps post apocalyptic)future
-
a game about time travelling back into medieval times and being technologically superior to the people of that time.
-
the same as 9. but with a fantasy twist.
any of those would being awesome.
ps.i love any and all superhero games as well.
@AdamGoodtime
Why don’t you start by making one of those :)?
Has anyone tried Lovecraftian horror?

Im going to see where mine will end up as in type but if need to add little more flavor I can. People brought up animal ones, beasts within is a WIP that has mc as an animal.
Personally, I would love to see a game based around travelling through dimensions. Kind of difficult to make work, but I am making one along side Beast Within.
@jjc73 I think most people are seeking a sole werewolf game. My game is extremely generic as well, as it isnt centred around one character.

@Dusk777, I do think someone brought it up, but I forget who at the moment.
A Battle royale kind of game would be so fricking awesome. I also agree that a villain game would be awesome too. I feel like most of CoG and hosted games penalise you a lot for being a villain (Or just being mean/sarcastic/cunning)
What I’d like to see is a game that centers around music like the movie Whiplash or the potential Choice of the Rock Star had. Really any entertainer character sounds interesting (Choice of the Bard anyone?)
A good game to is when you can build up your character from a nobody into someone. The underdog story. Lastly I do enjoy games where you don’t just choose what your character does but where your ecisions directly affect a group under you, be it a band of rebels, a squadron of cavalry,
or a fleet of spaceships. If the game can balance that and the personal and it’s got plus points for me.
As for genre it’s sci fi or fantasy for me. Maybe one of the time historical periods popular in fiction and games.
Games with demons, evil gods, and me as the antagonist!!!

Are there any game ideas that were put out there but were never made? Which were your favorite.
Realistic street survival doing whatever it takes.
Basically any plots with severe depression and dark themes.
A game where female MCs are consistently underestimated with the big payoff being celebrations for doing the “impossible” where as a male mc gets a pat on the back.
A game like Alter Ego but with modern issues.

So many werewolf games and similar TF projects. Well maybe not the action and squick horror ones.

Choice of the Castellan
The High Queen of Alysanne owed you her life, which is why, exactly, you have just been granted a title and your choice of fief: Will you rule over the war-torn fief of Castel Sanguillard, the destitute and stagnating Faibremont, or will you lead the decadent County Court of Vallionville? Will you sacrifice all to keep your people safe, or squeeze them dry to build your mighty fortress? Will you marry and start a dynasty, or dedicate your life to the endless pursuit of power? Will you ally with the crown or the church? The peasants, or the nobility? Will you rely on the stout walls and sworn swords of your fortress, or your own fighting skills? As a shadowy conspiracy threatens to send the kingdom plunging into civil war, how will you protect your people, protect your lands and protect yourself?
A psychological thriller game similar to “Inception” that allows the player to explore the depths of their MC’s mind. A “Fantastic Voyage” styled sci-fi game could be cool as well. Kind of like a “Journey to the Centre of the Mind” trope. And some werewolf games where you run a werewolf pack.

Hmm…i quite like low fantasy games like the WIP war for the West.
Then I’d like more supernatural stories but with a twist, and I know this probably puts me in the minority, but I want to play as the monsters.
