I noticed that during his recruitment it never changed no matter how high I got his stat, but afterwards, as long as you choose options that coincide with his beliefs/values in your approaches to all of the conflict, it should increase anywhere from 2 - 5 points.

The best thing I’ve read all day is Whippoorwill ganking the Bane at the woods, which, summed up, goes basically like this:

I would note that that could be years.
I had wondered about that. He shut me down pretty hard when I tried, and at the time I thought it was probably because I didn’t agree with him enough. But you can’t just randomly and unquestioningly go through blowing everything up until you hit the right target by happenstance, and you have to listen to other, sometimes opposing (or not even opposing just more cautious) views. It’s like he learned nothing from the disaster that befell his pack.

I do have a huge backlog 
. On a more serious note I do this often with games with quite a bit dlc’s or a big post release road map especially if they had a beta that I play a lot of. Most often it means waiting 1-3 years after they came out

Yes. But honestly, Porcupine’s tale is going to be hard to beat. I’m reading it and going “ho hum, typical myth, reminds me of Amaterasu going to hide in a cave or Demeter sulking off to be a babysitter to be a mum by proxy” and suddenly PORCUPINE COMMITS CHILD SACRIFICE AND WEARS ITS SKIN AS A WARNING TO ANY OF YOU FUCKS THAT EVEN THINK TO PULL ANOTHER FAST ONE ON ME!
For the people familiar with W:tA is that something Marquis made up, or is it actually Porcupine’s origin story in the TTRPG?

Not as familiar as I would need to be, and this game reminded me of why. One of the guys I played with at uni described the spiritual “understanding” of the garou as “like if a toddler dropped acid and discovered nihilism.” Yes, he was quite high, and also DM.

Do you know what actions to take to gain renown? Specifically for honor?

I gained like 60 Wisdom as an ahroun when i was playing a black fury because every other choice i made was basically “But wait, what about the people?!” and “I want to learn” So i assume wisdom involves taking the time to learn/seeking knowledge not rushing into things, and caring for people/spirits
Glory seems to just be running into combat and solving your problems with claws
I guess honor is anything that involves upholding the litany and doing successful leadership checks, most things that involve ‘keeping the pack together’ or caring about your team (spamming Mother Bear feels like a great way to do that)
None of what I’ve said is objectively factual, just my experience and observations across all the playthroughs I’ve had of the game

I don’t think W5 mentions specific animal spirits, just some general information about them as a group, and “Porcupine’s Reprisal” is listed as a Gift for a Black Fury or philodox. So, yeah, I believe Porcupine’s story and those of all the other animal spirits are all-Kyle.
And I agree, Porcupine goes so hard! Whoulda thunk?

what about uneven numbers? Like if my Rage is 4. That would make it 3/2 = 1.5. Is it rounded up or down?

Does anyone else keep getting kicked back to really early on in the game? This happened to me twice now – once when I bought the full book, and again just now for no discernable reason… I keep getting booted back to the first free time and I can’t figure out what’s going on. Do I need to restart completely?
