Well in that case I’ll try to get round to buying it.
@CS_Closet – hit-up the www.waywalkersguide.com website, i’ll be posting a few links to some of my short stories later today–i wish i had a published novel to direct you to, but that’s currently in the works.
@Drazen-- let me know what you think once you do–anyone who can reference Hume’s bundle theory is someone whose opinion i’d be interested in hearing! lol
This game is a highly fun ride, and I enjoyed it a great deal. I’m looking forward to seeing how things develop from here.
I started playing today and am enjoying it so far, especially the writing and style of prose. A great addition to the Hosted Games section.
Wow great game. the money spent was worth it. now i want the second part out! any estimate on the time till part 2?
Looking forward to seeing if we will be able to Romance Jun, Kess, Ives or even Sem’s Rival Genoa.
Great game =D>
@Antitorpiliko i’m working in it as we speak–i’m *hoping* about the same 8 months it took to write the first…but it’s hard to say, as this gets wider and wider as i go. XD
@Lobo420 thanks! and a yes to two out of the four you listed.
Hmm… not sure whether to buy it considering I’ve already spent $1.99 on Eerie Estate Agent earlier today…
I suppose $4 in one day won’t be /that/ bad.
If I could, I’d buy the game ten times just to show support and get you guys to continue the series! Is that 8 months from now? Cause if it is, I will gladly offer myself to search for typos and spell-check etc.
You did really well finding a balance between rich storytelling and also making it accessible and not too complex, imo.
…I love Jun and Sem so muh-huh-huch! :-(( Much love for you too!
@WayWalkerLeigh i figured that Ives & Genoa were going to be unavailible but it never hurts to be sure 8-X
@Lobo420 Genoa *almost* made the cut, but i had to take it back a step due to *other* things in her storyline…have fun rereading to see if you can find out why.
@Dooly Yes, that’s 8 months to complete it, then we’ll have to see how long editing and debuging takes–i actually won’t be working with the same copyeditor i used this time, so maybe I’ll actually take you up on that offer, lol! And thank you, the praise means the world to me!
My favorite character is sem
Kess and Ay’cura are the two gals who the story appears to set up as possible romances, although with Ay’cura, there could be problems with Jun, since he appears to be carrying a torch for her too.
Genoa would make for an intriguing possibility down the road if she were to ever warm up to you. Illyan makes for another interesting possibility, although with her the age difference is probably too large, at least for the next few years. I have a hard time seeing Ives in that way however.
@ Antitorpiliko —Semryu is awesome.
@WayWalkerLeigh Those *other* things could potentially make a future romance with Genoa even more compelling, depending on how the story develops. Just because she and the protagonist are at cross-purposes doesn’t mean there can’t be a mutual attraction. An intriguing element of romantic tension added on top of the potential rivalry would make for an interesting additional dimension to the story.
if he asks me to do anything, I do it! I love sem so much!
@ P_Tigras – Oh i agree completely-- but i’m not sure you’ve uncovered her real reason yet. It’s not about cross purpose–i just realized there is a certain portion of genoa’s life which would make trying to date her just too sprawling. At least, at first glance, perhaps after the first draft i might find a way to work it in, but i have a feeling it’s going to be too much even as-is O_o;
@P_Tigras It would truly be fairly difficult to get Genoa to date you, and complicated to get it written in to the second O.o I /could/ tell you why, exactly, but it would be a spoiler…
Did everyone die at some point? or is there a way around that part?
@Antitorpiliko It’s reaaaaally hard. I’ve played around 7 times, and I’ve only lived twice…
That’s kinda a fail on part, though xD
