Unless the additional material is playable content written in ChoiceScript, he has every right to make it available to patrons only. The reader who bought the game is still getting exactly what they paid for; the existence of exclusive bonus content somewhere else doesn’t take away from that.
If the additional material is playable content written in ChoiceScript, that falls outside the terms of permitted use, and could become a problem.

Considering that the extra.txt file is incomplete and not mentioned in the scene list, I suspect it is cut content rather than paywalled content. It might have been something present in the WIP version and not properly removed for the official release.
(I’m not sure if this file was used in the final wordcount, though.)

Does anyone know how to get Lakeem to help us at the impound lot when we pick our first car? The code says it’s only selectable if sellout = no, but I have no idea what that references in game.
Edit: I found it. It seems you have to get caught by the police and interrogated about Lakeem’s car after your first race with Brock, which I feel shouldn’t have to happen for sell_out to be classified as no if you don’t get caught and interrogated in the first place. Can’t be a sell out if you just don’t get caught.

Hey everyone!
I know I’ve been a bit quiet over the last few days, but I promise I haven’t been ignoring anyone. I’ve been reading through the bug reports, feedback, and suggestions you’ve all been posting, and I genuinely appreciate everyone who’s taken the time to help improve the game.
I’ve been actively working on fixes, and I also realized that the latest update didn’t make it to every platform—it appears to have only gone live on Google Play. I’m currently working with the Hosted Games team to get that sorted out so everyone can receive the same fixes and checkpoint update.
If all goes according to plan, everything should be sorted out by next week (hopefully by Monday).
Thanks again for your patience and for sticking with Velocity. Your reports have been incredibly helpful, and I’ll keep working to make the experience as polished as possible.

These are scenes that I tried to implement but eventually cut.
The content about what happened with Smokey, Four Eyed Pete and Adam takes place in Aswa. This is a story I’m working on where we play as the MC’s aunt/uncle in a Vietnam style war if. I did this thinking you guys may haven’t wanted to know more about that.
The rest are Patreon exclusives I’m drafting up.
They aren’t supposed be apart of the game. I apologize for the confusion.

Before I was ever a writer I was an avid fanfiction reader! I definitely won’t forget to update Bleach, but it’ll have to wait a bit until the others are sorted

Finally able to finish the game. My character go full underworld and having connections with crime family. I agreed the best improvement in this full version compared to early demo is romance. There some bug that other already posted So yeah i think i will not talk about it. See you on next project on COG and see you on your free interactive vision like bleach and other. Stay healthy

I would love a walk through in just how to romance Britney in general,no matter what I do, in chapter 7 I believe it is she tells me she doesn’t want to talk to me because I have no self-respect because of my alignment, I have tried every aspect i can even not joining any gangs, not even forming a crew and still she won’t even speak to me. Also, I do not know how you are able to face off against Smokey and apprehend him, all i ever get is the race where he ends up fleeing from the cops and you chase him then once you get him to stop it is a decoy that ends up being a victim. After that I can never find him yet I have seen people talking how they fought him and beat him and even how you can beat him in the race, Matt, or someone, could you please tell me what i have to do to even find him so I can race and even fight him? Thank you.

Okay! So Good News guys!
The update should be live on all platforms soon. A few days ago it seemed to have only dropped on Google Play but now it’s been fixed to reach all platforms.
I made sure to correct most of the spelling errors and grammatical mistakes in this update too.

For the most part. To save Britney, just go to school early and try to get her inside the school. Also, it’d be best to avoid gangs and have a higher reputation stat.

You need like a reputation of over 90 to talk to her in chapter 7 after saving her, but that’s where the good news ends. The dating flag currently doesn’t trigger because it doesn’t exist in her sequence because Fusion probably forgot.
He also forgot the last pass to set you at 1st place for the race against Virgil the Viper. You could be smoking him but if your place is not exactly at 1, you are considered to have lost the race. The simplest way to win it now involves taking a highly dishonorable and disreputable action.
As a game, Velocity is technically broken. As a story, it fulfills all my hotrod fantasies. Keep fixing it, please, Fusion.
P.S. I’d be a beta tester but I can’t be bothered to send emails and pass selections or whatnot.

Man, I definitely enjoy this game but, and I mean no real disrespect, it’s held together with duct tape and glue. Cause for the first time after like 4 attempts(the most recent I hit the last chapter), I think I’m getting my first bug free playthrough. I’m seeing shit I didn’t even know existed. I raced some dudes named Tank and Butch for the the first time, I met up with dad and his new family, it’s wild. Straight up might have just skipped a whole chapter or 2 of the game it seems like. And the only thing i recall doing differently is actaully going out of my way to interact with Jason. For some reason, Jason is fucking load bearing. Which is both hilarious and frustrating.

I’m sorry the earlier bugs prevented you from experiencing the full contents of the game. There really is a lot of stuff that I feel players weren’t able to see because of the bugs and I’m pleased to finally hear someone say they had a bug-free playthrough.
