Ikr, the replayability is great. That’s what I love about super detailed RPGs like this one.
Yes, it is deep lore concerning the time manipulator MC and wouldn’t make sense on any of the other routes.

It is the weakest superpower combat-wise but it also offer the most interesting scenes

Pretty sure you have to first choose to work with PARENTS and recruit Derek after the Thaumaturge fight. Then once you have Jackdaw’s information, send LB in to infiltrate Jackdaw’s house. When he fails and you confront Jackdaw, tell him “You get to walk away with more money than you ever made selling drugs.” Then choose to go after him, either with or without PARENTS’ permission, that should trigger the car chase. Now if you want to die in this scene and you have time manipulation powers, pick the option to sacrifice yourself for Ghostling at some point. There could be other pathways but that’s what worked for me.

How do I get killed by the sniper? They always seem to deal with them automatically.

There are two ways to do so (for the time manipulation MC of course).
From how I understand the game code, if you don’t meet at least one of these requirements at the ports scene:
- awareness >= 5
- intellect >= 7
- you’re working with both PARENTS and Derek
Then you basically have failed the check for noticing the sniper. So if you go in alone and then choose to save the cat; you will get shot by the sniper, provided that you have an agility score lower than 5. Otherwise, if you go in together with your team without bulletproof gear, you’ll also get shot and die.

How do you find out that chronomancer might also be you? Is it said directly in a branch or have people just deduced that?
Also does the story change a lot if you experience the splitting of reality with the pill? I almost took that path but then decided against it and don’t know if it’s worth it to replay from that section

Quite. Unless it’s a red herring and there are multiple time manipulators aligning with your gender who talk to an imaginary walrus named Mr. Twinkletusk who would stop existing if you died. Which, to be fair, I would believe. Also “you” appearing when you’re a time manipulator, when with other powers it’s Chronomancer.

okay can’t say I understood that first part very well I clearly need to replay it haha, but the second part makes sense, I just haven’t played with other powers to see the difference
