Since electricity manipulation is possible, does that mean ice manipulation will eventually also be possible?

I think one of the options when you fight the Thaumaturge is to freeze him and you can freeze the snot of the bad guy’s nose that has this power

I’m currently at the Burg with Lilith and Derek, and I found a greyed out choice mentioning about trying to kiss Lilith the other day. I restarted the game to find out when that was possible but haven’t come across it. Does anyone know when it happens?

I’m not sure myself, but my guess is that it may have something to do with the snow fight scene.

You must allow Lilith to kill Rattlebag herself. This will allow you to get a potential early 70 relationship with her. When you return from the catacombs, visit her and be nice.

Are you talking about taking drugs as the chrono!protag or the “bad” ending after the Jackdaw car chase?

to elaborate, the Jackdaw sequence involves chronomancer!protag choosing to sacrifice themself so that Lilith survives. The following scenes are of our protag’s funeral, being buried, and then having their corpse unearthed by Thaumaturge. The latter talks about a “promise” before using the rusted nickel to reverse causality.

If there were other paths aside from those above, could you shed some light on how to get there?

Started this game a few days ago and the branching is insane. Between playing and code-diving on and off, I still haven’t finished uncovering all the pathways and secrets it has to offer. I’ve got it wishlisted on Steam and am looking forward to throwing money at the finished game when it comes out.

Aside from Manaxaggd’s segment and the funeral scene like you suggested, there’s also a snippet of conversation between Chronomancer and Thaumaturge at the docks that heavily implied it, among other things. To get it you have to die, either by getting shot or saving the cat, and then choose “I don’t know” iirc.
Here’s the scene, beware that there are heavy spoilers though:

*if (timesDied = 1)

"This isn't what was supposed to happen," someone says in the endless darkness you find yourself drifting, and you would consider the voice familiar, were you able to recognize things.

"Obviously," another voice says, one that you have also heard before. "Otherwise you would not be here."

			"Something is disrupting the timeline."

"Perhaps it is a consequence of your previous actions," the second voice suggests. "Time once again fighting back against your constant interference."

"You know you are going to do the same thing, don't you?"

"Only because there is no other choice. Do not mistake my forthcoming sacrifice with your incautious, selfish disruptions."

"It doesn't matter. $!{xe} @{(gender = "non-binary") need|needs} to survive, or it's all over. For all of us."

"How, then, do you presume to save ${xim}?"

"I'm already doing it. We are inside a pocket temporal anomaly. I'll perform a chronal incision, revert time just a few seconds, to right before the shot was fired. I'll give ${xim} another chance to avoid this outcome."

"They will not appreciate it, Chronomancer. Time traveling is considered vulgar by modern audiences. A poor storytelling device, a clutch used by lesser authors."

			*if (fourthWallRunner)
				*if (intellect >= 4)
"Why do you assume that those weaving our reality have similar tastes when it comes to fiction?"

A scornful laughter. "Isn't it evident? We are made in their image."

"If that is the case, they will understand what I am doing. Because they would have done the same."
				*else
"Trust me, they would rather keep playing."

"Let us hope you are right, old friend."
			*elseif ((callous > 70) or (brooding > 70))

			"I am well aware, Thaumaturge."

"Is this of no significance to you? Perhaps you are not supposed to intervene. Perhaps this is how ${alias} dies."

"It can't be. It never happened before, otherwise I would know."

"Memory is a fragile thing, especially when dealing with multiple alternate realities. I know better than most."

"No, this is different. There's something we are not seeing here. It could be my powers acting off, like they used to."

			"Why now, of all times?"

"Because we might be facing a paradox. And those are the antithesis of everything I represent."

			"Ah. Of course."

			"Let me try again."
			*goto aLoudChronalBang
		*elseif (timesDied = 3)
"We are stuck in a time loop."

			"Evidently."

"But this isn't my doing. I know that for sure now. My powers are working just fine."

"I see. Must be quite hard for you."

			"What?"

"Experiencing something that is not your doing."

			"You're still not over it?"

"I do not appreciate being manipulated, 'Chronomancer.'"

				"This is different."

				"How?"

"Those who command us are outside of my reach. I cannot kill them."

"And do you think you could kill me?"

"It is well within my capabilities. I could do it right now, for example, by preventing you from saving yourself."

"But you are not going to, are you?"

"Of course not. I just find it amusing to entertain the idea that I could, if that was my intention."

				"You're a weird guy, Thaumaturge."

"Says the person who @{(twinkleTusked) talks with an imaginary walrus|spent a decade retracing their steps}."

				"Touché."

"Now, get on with it. Try once more. Let us see what happens. My curiosity is piqued."

				"Okay. Here goes nothing..."
			*else
"Would you have joined me otherwise?"

"Perhaps not. I guess we shall never know."

"There are ways of finding out."

"Yes, there are. But we do not have the time for them. And we already spent too much of it here, trying to save you from your own recklessness and stupidity. So make haste, now. We have a world to save, and another to destroy."

				"Okay. Here goes nothing..."
			*goto aLoudChronalBang

			"I figured it out."

"It must be painful. $!{xis} resilience in pursuit of knowledge is commendable."

"Don't you get it? We must close the loop. I don't remember any of this, so ${xe} must not, either."

"Or the paradox you feared takes place."

"Exactly. I'll rewind time again, but I need you to influence Vera City in the current year through your techno telepathy. Can you do that?"

"I suppose so. What exactly would you require of me?"

"Contact one of your drones. Pre-program it to take down the sniper on that roof right before he shoots. This should be enough."

			*if (aboutACat)
"Why not simply remove the feline simulacrum that makes the situation possible in the first place?"

"Because it teaches an important lesson."

"Understandable. Yet, you must know I demand compensation for my services."
			*else
"And what would you offer in return?"

A sigh. "What do you want?"

"Hmm. We shall talk about that when the time comes."

The connotations here are something else, I’m surprised I’ve seen no one talking about it so far. Thaumaturge’s “forthcoming sacrifice”? “We have a world to save, and another to destroy”? A version of Chronomancer and Thaumaturge are observing and interfering with the happenings from some sort of pocket dimension? There’s a lot going on here. Also the fact that Thaumaturge cares enough to know about Mr Twinkletusk made me kek, are these guys making friendship bracelets in the pocket dimension or something?

Yikes? I guess the reason no one discovered it is because no one is interested in dying. Knowing what I know now, I think it’s about high time to die. Now, to figure out how to do it.
