But I was referring to Doc Ock from the early 2000s Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies, the one’s with Tobey Macguire as Spider-Man, Octavius creates a powerful reactor as an energy source, and says “The power of the sun, in the palm of my hand” before it goes out of control and blows up (not really a spoiler, since the entire scene leading up is them talking about how, is he sure it’s stable)
I mentioned it cause the previous two messages were someone saying there should be a round glasses/goggles sort of look and someone saying how the picture they sent as reference looked like Doc Ock’s goggles

Decided to give it a go out of pure curiosity, skeptical of the whole claim you can be a villain/anti hero.
Then I got the option to use time manipulation to send someone into a loop of constant cardiac arrest until he tells me what I wanted to know. Holy shit, it uh… definitely lives up to the claim. Damn.

Liking the ROs in this one! Lilith is by far my favorite. Usually you see those colder ROs warm up way slower in most WiPs, so this is a very good and very welcomed change of pace!

So Trismegistus was definitely doing experiments on the MC at some sort of arctic location called “Geppetto’s Winter Lodge” before the mind wipe right? Hell, it is even possible that MC was artificially created or given powers by Trismegistus in the first place in order to further his own agendas, whatever they may be.

First two screenshots are options from getting arrested by PARENTS for non-compliance after the Thaumaturge fight. The dream memory with Blair is after being blasted by Shimmer at the warehouse. The final conversation with Thelma can be unlocked by getting drunk and inviting Crazy Chris to the party.
I’d be surprised if it turns out to be something so innocuous, considering that MC’s imaginary friend/personified consciousness outright states his repressed childhood memories are some dark shit and that Trismegistus literally brainwashed MC to forget those memories afterwards. Also from the ominous way Trismegistus is described, he strikes me as a “for the greater good” type character.

I didn’t even think that. For some reason I thought it was hinting at Trismegistus being our parent or something. Like being our dad or combining his dna with someone else’s to create a test tube baby(us). That would be pretty crazy but I think that’d be pretty cool having Dad Trismegistus and uncle thaumaturge lol

Well I do think it is possible that MC was artificially created, but your specific idea would make Thelma our biological (half-)sister lol. Since she’s a RO, a lot of people wouldn’t like that. (Though technically the idea is not out of the realm of possibility as one of Zaper’s previous game, War for the West, did allow you to romance your half-sister iirc.)

Well if we are a test tube baby I guess he’d be our father either way, since he woulda raised us to some extent. I just want mc to have parents of some sort. The other option I accept is the brooding hero mentor as an adopted parent.

I mean the name "Geppetto’s Winter Lodge” more or less confirms the MC was made artificially. It’s a pretty direct reference to Pinocchio which is about an artificial boy made by Geppetto.

Yeah, there are multiple Pinocchio references at other places in the story at well. Trismegistus used a quote from Pinocchio to make MC forget: “A conscience is that still, small voice that people won’t listen to.” Mr Twinkletusk also directly compares male MC to Pinocchio if you start questioning your reality.
