Hi a friend showed me this game and told me to check it out and I’ve played your first one an I thought it was great about to try out your new one.
Now having said this i do have a thought is there a way for you to have both azure and shade powers.
I mean your shade power is 1 half of the azure power the power to manipulate light whereas the azure is to generate light anddd manipulate it si just wondering you can do both like tying 1 hand behind your back in afight
I’m always glad to hear when someone likes the game and while you a mostly right the shade power is just the first half of the azure power it would be extremely difficult to split them correctly the main reason you were able to use “shade” is because of the power your mom created Statera ex anima her attempt at preventing you becoming an Azure didn’t work like she planned.
I suppose if the MC does eventually manage to unlock it they could theoretical unlock both. But that means only an an Azure could unlock Shade again a Shade wouldn’t have access to the power.
I was going to suggest a concept of the MC finding a unique way later in the series to “split” them again, but with only an Azure being able do it would be a huge miss out for Shadow players and very unfair. Probably not a good idea.
Yeah it wouldn’t be fair. The only way around that is maybe make it something Lucille can do.
i know this is old AF but who is Damon, like how is he triggered to show up in game? and will there be a guide for the s2 RO? i think i found 1 of the secret? unnaturals but i think i lost him to b/c they shared a kiss after dancing and he never popped up again but felt unfinished so idk…
I’d completely forgotten about Damon so he isn’t in the game so don’t worry about missing him.
I’ll try and get the RO guide done by this weekend! I’ve been putting it off as was busy with the writing sample and the concepts. But I’ve got the time now.
The first draft of the romance guide is up and running on my website with all the new romances apart from Lucien whose path is a bit more complicated.
Forgive my rant but I feel like mc should’ve flipped out more at the mother ending. Imagine a child abandoned by her mother, then the child wanting his mother back came looking for her and abandoned her child again, and for no good reason now she comes back to his son all smiles wanting him back in her “new life” like nothing happened, like nothing has been said, like what she said can be unheard. If that was me, I would’ve verbally released my feelings at her face and tell her to fuck herself, and with mc’s power and out of pure uncontrollable rage that mountain overlooking her house would’ve been destroyed or something. If I could write and I had the time, I’m tempted to rewrite the code just to add this scene. Anyway other than that, love your game cant wait to read season 3.
I’ve had a bug reported which I need to fix. So I’ll look into adding an extra choice to be more aggressive during that scene.
Btw. I just checked, and found funny error in one of original three codes for new game plus:
elseif (newgameplus = “romero”)
Congratulations! You get:
*set ngp true
+5% Physical, and Will.
*line_break
+10% Mental.
*line_break
+1 Zombie Lore.
*set physical %+5
*set mental %+10
*set will %+5
*set vampire_lore +1
*set codes -1
*goto new_game_menu
Like you see, comment about setting zombie lore doesn’t match what’s added (vampire lore).
And it’s the code ROMERO (like in “the living dead”), so zombie lore should be added right?
Oh, thanks. I will get that fixed too.
Saw mention of there being possibly a max of 8 wings added, if this is done it’d be cool if you could create your own ability, from a choice of a couple, since you’d technically be one of the most powerful azure
I kind of get and agree what you’re saying here but I think a child who’s lost their entire family, because remember she died and was ressurected, would still be happy to see her again. And really the PC wasn’t abandoned but was let to go his own journey, especially since if you stay and kill the monolith, it destroys the PCs mother’s ability to ressurect and was planned by her evil brother, then she comes back to you.
What monolith? what im missing here?
I don’t remember her saying anything so hurtful during our conversation to warrant such a strong anger if you see her again. Besides, it’s not like it took too long for her to come back to see you when you went to look for her; at least, my PC was happy to be reunited with his mom in the end. Although I admit I don’t remember that part 100%, but it’s the only ending I’ve played, to be honest.
The Monolith is the guardian of the Azure, who when alive allows said Azure to ressurect.
Are you talking about the guardian that was with mom? Is it possible to destroy it? I thought it was much stronger than us.
I don’t believe it’s about was said or not but it’s about the situation in general. If I was in this situation IRL I think I would react first and think later. Just imagine it.
1:Your family is **slaughtered ** I while you were a kid (An event that constantly repeats in the form of a ptsd induced dream)
2:Your best friend becomes your worst enemy
3:You (even if willingly) are in a very stressful and dangerous line of work. I would equate your profession to an SCP researcher/mobile response force.
4:Btw your mom is alive and has been avoiding you this whole time.
Personally after learning of my mother’s fate after her supposed death filled me with immeasurable fury. Fury I wanted to drown Xenon in for creating the rules of reincarnation, Michael for enforcing those rules on my my mother who before his arrival wanted to die and in an attempt to reunite with her husband and young child, Constantine for standing between me and my mother and my mother herself for choosing to obey that rule.
In my opinion it’s safe to say that a bigger reaction (including but not limited to an angry and slightly violent one) would have been more believable then the relatively calm conversation you have with her.
(nice game btw. Despite the bugs it left me excitingly inticipating Book 3 and hoping for a rematch with that pompous stoned headed soon to be 60000 feet deep monolith)
I quite easily destroyed him, and it has a different ending pretty sure compared to if you just leave. And yeah the guardian with your mother is called a Monolith, its meant to be a guardian, as long as it lives the azure connected to it can ressurect after death. If you kill it, your mother will no longer be able to ressurect.
I may need to reword that section because she is meant to have only remembered her past lives a couple of years ago. So it’s more like she feels too much time has passed combined with remembering the rules of reincarnation.
Probably would be best, alot of people do probably think the mother abandoned you/doesn’t care. Possibly make it where shes more emotional but distant.
