Yeah, let’s just kill everyone. After all, everyone’s equal if everyone’s undead.
Not really extinct. Yet.
Unlucky enough, would be more accurate. The dragons that stayed are some of the the most powerful there is, and most of them can’t be reasoned with or aren’t willing to listen to the words of a humanoid anymore. The most famous of them have such a reputation no one with a shred of sanity and common sense would even try to approach them, even if they knew where they’re hiding.
The dragons are more or less doomed, no matter what they do at this point. All they can do is try to maintain their population as it desperately plummets over time. They’re in a situation in which they’re slowly realizing they won’t make it unless they do everything they can to survive as long as possible.
The dragons brought the first Dracomachia on themselves, but the dragon hunters that appeared much later were always controversial figures. To the point that eventually the most problematic of them were prosecuted and sometimes executed in front of the leaders of the involved nations. Dragons nowadays keep well out of reach from humanoids, so humanoids aren’t a direct cause of extinction for the dragons anymore.
Wight King: “Hippity Hoppity, your corpse will join my army.”
NOOOOOOOO!!!
So which scaleless son of a wyvern betrayed them? Did man just discover the first flame?
Why are you Gandalf with a gun?
I still want to cook them…
Eight Kings can still taste stuff right? I want to eat a dragon. Then keep the bones.
Are there any ghoul dragons/wild undead dragons flying about?
What are the types of governments for various kingdoms/species?
And are there any war or cold wars going on?
Edit. Hypothetically would a Dragon even be able to make a phylactery to become a dracolich?
Not a very majestic end for majestic creatures. Any chance of the WK teaming up with some…?
This man gets it
This man does not get it
…Doesn’t really sound like the kind of people that would act as holy agents. Are they allowed to do that or is it more secret?
Nobody expects the - ahem
Nobody expects the Vindicare snipers;
Also I’m almost certain that the dragons weren’t innocent in this mess
Well, who betrayed who? Was there something to betray in the first place? It’s kind of up to interpretation. Let’s say it was a team effort.
It’s kind of complicated, the dragons fucked up incredibly badly and things snowballed from then.
Who knows?
WK can still taste, but everything is rather bland. Beside, eating dragon meat is a bad idea.
Ghouls are something different, but technically a ghoul could be a dragon. Undead dragons, there is ONE everyone knows exists, but most prefer to pretend it’s a legend, beside that there’s suposedly no other.
Mostly feudal or imperial. If I had to get into specifics, it would take a while to explain, especially since I haven’t thought too in-depth into these things yet. I have ideas for everything, but I’d rather not go into length about something so complex yet. I’d rather SHOW you through my stories, because that would be more interesting than me giving you a drunk history lecture.
The world is kind of always more or less into a state of cold war, just waiting for a casus belli, or for something to shake the chessboard up.
When WK wakes up, the largest conflict is kind of at a stalemate. Velzar rebelled against Aquilea, suported by Kriegsgard. And most everyone is openly or secretly against Aquilea right now. But things aren’t progressing. Aquilea may be in a bad state, but it still has the largest army in the world, and a decently competent one too.
They think so as well.
THE Inquisition isn’t suposed to be holy in the first place. But these rituals are kept secret anyway. The Stigmata is considered holy, because it consists in self-sacrifice, the inquisitors are all about sacrificing what they have so that others do not have to. They’re not agent of the church at all, they believe into a greater sense of justice, unbound by nations or religions, though it’s rare when they can actually accomplish that
The templar-inquisitors now, they’re closer to what you know of inquisitions. Zealous dogs of the church, hunting for its enemies within their own ranks and those of their allies.
The rituals to make someone into an inquisitor are secret. Because they are afraid that the people would fear them even more if they discovered what they are put through to gain their powers. But the inquisitors are honest about their nature, their duties and their organization.
Yeah actually most people don’t expect them. XD
Sometimes people aren’t even aware a crime happened before they show up.
Oh no they certainly weren’t.
Sounds like any legitimate crusader kings game im in. If i’m not conqu- managing land for others i’m waiting for a managerial excuse.
wk the new leige lord with near unlimited troop cap.
It’s time for my WK to start upgrading his control over undeads to go and try to get this dragon, this will either end with the dragon obliterating me or getting a new cool and op mount.
Do dragons wings attached to the torso or do are they attached to the front legs?
I’m assuming if we encounter it the dragon would be smart enough beat the WK and probably be willing to negotiate for it’s service
Oh, there is no doubt about that, but it will also most likely be pissed off with humanoids and maybe the living as a whole, so if I needed to make it subservient I’d take my time to prepare for it.
…Dragons may mot be innocent (I think they are) but they don’t deserve to die.
Undead dragons, there is ONE everyone knows exists, but most prefer to pretend it’s a legend, beside that there’s suposedly no other.
So… Dracolich? As scary as that sounds?

Ah yes, I’m never bored of the downward spiral of insanity, human tragedy and extreme violence that every single one of my games of ck2 inevitably becomes no matter what I do.

Depends. No two dragons are the same.
…Dragons may mot be innocent (I think they are) but they don’t deserve to die.
You don’t always get what you deserve. Some of them had it coming(and by that I mean, they deserved worse), but a lot of young dragons, many innocent, were killed during the Dracomachia, or were hunted down by Dragon Slayers later. Some dragons that never did anything to deserve the Dracomachia paid for the mistakes of those that did.
It might not be fair, but hey, when is life fair?
So… Dracolich? As scary as that sounds?
Old dragons are already hard to kill, on top of being extremely powerful. So an undead dragon is a nightmare to fight. That one is the kind of threat you’d rather convince yourself is dead, or not even real in the first place, just to reassure yourself. That’s just how terrifying he was, people prefered forgetting about what happened and only reference him in songs and stories you tell your children so they behave.
Now people don’t really remember him as anything more than a legend, so people aren’t truly afraid of him anymore.
Ghouls are something different, but technically a ghoul could be a dragon.
Ghouls are possessed corpses right? Like by spirits?
The world is kind of always more or less into a state of cold war, just waiting for a casus belli, or for something to shake the chessboard up.
“You see, I want a simple war. No class wars, no drug wars, no race wars, no flame wars…” Und certainly, no Cold Wars ‘Blueballed for 40 years.’"
Ah yes, I’m never bored of the downward spiral of insanity, human tragedy and extreme violence that every single one of my games of ck2 inevitably becomes no matter what I do.
I want to try CK2 (don’t have a computer and not available for console) but at the same time I rather enjoy the craziness of Stellaris and eventually my empire purging everyone after their constant insulting/annoying me

Well, why don’t we settle the score? “DRAGONS of the world! YOU shall be avenged! The dead WILL have there TRIBUTE!”
(For FE3H players: yes I’m quoting Dimitri)
