I don’t read the comic, but maybe other characters from the comic that they didn’t put?
Ok so I’ve been lurking around Google trying to find more info about the Season 2 Protagonist, and… Didn’t really find much
sorry guys! Most of it was just speculation, but it seems like the top protagonists are Clem and Molly, with some saying Omid, some saying Kenny (we never really did see him die, you know
) and others saying a brand new character. There was even one theory that the two people on the hill weren’t Omid and Christa, but actually two brand new characters, and that S2 will be revolving around them and their story, up to the point where they find themselves on the hill - then it will end with THEM seeing clementine (and S3 will be both of them together?). I personally think this idea is really awesome, though once again, its all just peoples speculations
We MUST know!
I really enjoyed the whole series, I think it was probably GOTY for me. Every time an episode came out, I’d sit and play it through. It was ideal for me as I don’t get too much time to play through epic length games anymore.
I was disappointed Molly didn’t stay with the group, as I thought she was an interesting character. By the end, Kenny really got on my nerves, but he redeemed himself by going to save Ben.
My favourite episode was the farm (Starved to Death?). That moment when you realise what people are sitting down to eat…I knew something was off but man…
The relationship between Clementine and Lee was awesome, I really became attached to both of them, so the ending really got to me.
Never once had I felt so attached to a child in a video-game. Most whine and you don’t really feel anything.
What madethe Lee - Clem relationship so moving was the fact that over the cause of the season you become a sort of surrogate father to her, trying to keep her alive and teach her how to survive.
That choice near the end was heartbreaking.
***SPOILER***
For the record I had her shoot me I couldn’t risk turning and attacking her if she ever has to go through that area again. It broke both our hearts, but least I know I cannot harm her anymore.
I just watched Danz_Newz walkthrough…
@Bawpie YES I loved Molly! She ended up being my favorite non-playable character, with maybe Clementine and Carley being close behind. Chuck (the short-lived homeless man) is right on up there too, because I feel like he could have done so much for the group if he lived. Episode 2 was awesome for me, and used to be one of my favorites, but then I finished the game and kinda saw it for what it was - a filler episode. I mean, the overall plot of the story is Lee and the group trying to get to Savannah. In Episode 1, they meet up with the group at the pharmacy, and make their way to the motel. In Ep3 they actually leave for Savannah. Ep4 sees them trying to locate a boat, and later trying to take down that dictatorship compound place, and Ep5, with the plot twist, has Lee trying to save Clem. Episode 2 really just didn’t contribute as much to the big picture than I’d hoped
though I did love killing those cannibals lol
@Nocturnal_Stillness, I did the same as well. Though we never do know if Clem ACTUALLY did shoot Lee - you see her point, then close her eyes, kinda move around a bit, then pull the trigger. She very well could have missed and run off (maybe putting Zombie-Lee in S2?)
@FortunesFaded - Actually Episode 2 is the ‘driver’ episode, it is the trigger that sets events in motion that allow episode 3 to occur. Because you end up wrecking the St.Johns and the farm in episode 2 the bandits go for you, which, leads to the deal, that leads to the girl going nuts, that leads to your investigation that leads to the assault and everything going haywire and you leaving.
I’m pretty sure 99.9% that she did shoot Lee (in my game). At that close range I don’ t the gun moving a cm or two in a direction would make her miss.
Also I agree with @RVallant Episode 2 sets up future events.
Episode two was actually the only episode I had to restart (without dying of course) I messed up stopping Clem eating the ‘meat’ because while I was running downstairs one of my cats knocked my pad out my hands as I wasn’t paying enough attention to her. and she took a bite (eww), so I restarted it and got to her in time (phew)
I really wanted to know more about the maintenance guy you find at the Motel, he seemed like an interesting character but only became lunch!
@Nocturnal_Stillness yeah I’m pretty sure as well. Plus bringing zombie lee back I feel would just be a poor decision on their part. But theres still the possibility - they don’t show the actual shot because they want to create that speculation.
And @trollhunterthethird the guy who got his legs cut off? I really liked him too! Really wish it was Ben who got eaten and not him haha
It’s been said by the developers that Lee is 100% without a doubt dead or reanimated.
Mark, the guy who got cut up for dinner, was awesome. I loved episode 2 for the characters and situations and atmosphere and…well just about everything in it.
It is, as stated, an important episode, for many reasons:
-Lily/Kenny power struggle
-Shows there are still other people out there
-Lily/Kenny/Lee relationship strengthens/weakens
-Introduces the bandits
-Turns Lily insane
-Theft from Campman
At the ending…Onions…Onions…everywhere…
Yes, the onions…
Yeah, I couldn’t let her see me become one of the monsters that took everything from her. Even on my third playthrough that scene made me cry.
One question I had was how the guy at the end found out about the St. John’s farm. Didn’t we take his supplies after we got back from the farm?
I need to replay the game to regain my memory, I have a terrible memory!
@hahaha01357 Yeah, I wasn’t sure about that either. Possibly another character/you talk about it afterwards, and he listens in? Remember he follows the group closely after you steal from him
“I’ll miss you…” I loved that line, *sob* *sob*
