I imagine that the MC has become quite guarded because of being forced to grew up so fast, relying on sarcasm to deflect person questions away and guard feelings/weakness. I’m also a bug fan of history, classical is my favourite which is why there will probably be looks of Roman references. Rome and Ancient Egypt are my favourites
Looks promising. I did however find it odd that my character could be friends with the king and get along well, only to end up two seconds later wanting to kill him.
It depends on so many variables that such an exercise is futile without more details.
The child’s brain would not have been influenced by pubitry(sp) and hormones… so, while they may have experience and such, they may not have developed the same emotional capacity as an adult…
Tthe brain would not be aging and growing for the 2000 years as if it was a normal human life…
Oh yeah, I plan to make it very unnerving, especially in the eyes of humans because they just don’t have the capability to understand.
That was more sarcasm and frustration than anything else, they don’t really want to. If that’s unclear I’ll try change it to be more obvious.
I had a funny thought. The MC with Mandy’s personality. lol
This could be a very powerful driver in the storyverse - maybe the MC is just comforted by a friendly touch - but then is a thrall actually “friendly” and other such quandaries exist
I actually agree with this in many ways.
The guardian is not a mother/father figure, they would become more of a friend if you choose to go that way and yeah the romance would be very limited, as I said before to mostly just companionship, like you chose to spend time with that character in your down time opposed to another but it wouldn’t go any further than that except like I said hand holding.
Yeah, I suppose ‘romance’ is the wrong word to use, it would be companion really but more trusted than just a friend? If that makes any sense. Like when you just gravitate towards certain people, and they understand each other and can communicate without speaking. It would be more of a strong bold than a romance.
My MC would definitely want a trusted companion each 60-100 years … she doesn’t want to do everything alone…
I do think you should make it clear for everyone that this is not about the romance… perhaps in an author’s preface or something… sort of like warning people that this is a story of fiction and such.
Yeah that’s a good idea.
Ah, I wouldn’t say it needs to be obvious. Though sarcasm seems to be a tricky thing to convey in written form. I don’t know, maybe add small actions like chuckling or shaking their head. Something along those lines could help paint a visual image for the reader.
Hahaha, oh she was my favourite character in that show! And I’d like to give the players that opportunity
Thanks for the advise, I’ll definitely keep it in mind. Also love the filthy frank picture hahaha
No problem, we all need a little Filthy Frank in our lives lol.
Absolutely true hahaha
We could just have backup clones of our companion like Mandy did. Remenber all the Billy clones? It was this episode
Hahaha and your MC is also friends with the grim reaper but won’t ever admit it
Good too see this still going on:smiley:
Every time I see a new vampire game I cross fingers in the hopes it gets Vampire The Masquerade elements…
PS: Is it safe to assume we’re not going to get romances in this game due to the fact our MC resembles a child?
