finally took this off my “to read” list and i rlly enjoyed it but one question – how do you complete a romance with Nichol? We had a fling on tour but she seemed to lose interest after that – the next time I propositioned her she refused, and we remained friendly but not involved in the epilogue.

I think Nichol prefers MCs who are practical and don’t pester them about eternal love - at least it was so in my run. I got his relationship value over 50, was practical and wasn’t tampering with revolution bull, didn’t talk about eternal love and it worked.

I finally played this one and enjoyed it a lot! I found the characters engaging and the authors really did a good job on a hard sell - writing about creativity. It also managed to surprise me with MC-related revelations! I liked that I could choose to be very practical about my art and support those around me, and I felt drawn to several of the love interests which was very nice. I romanced Nichol this time, but I could see myself romancing any of the others, and it was lovely to have a middle-aged love interest as well as a single parent in there - I’d really love to see more of both!

I could tell there were a lot of paths I didn’t see on my playthrough, and it really felt like I only scratched the surface of the possibilities. Difficulty wise, I appreciated that although I failed a fair amount early on and indeed in the middle, I could still leverage my strengths to achieve very decent success at my goals - though of course I couldn’t please everyone.

Can anyone advise how to get the exit pursued by a bear achievement?

This is what worked for me:

[spoiler]In the first chapter, fail when trying to help with the fire (I think this makes Matty like you less).

When writing your first play for Matty, choose special effects. When talking to her, fail all the checks by going against your strengths. She will then refuse the special effects and replace them with the bear.

When the bear is menacing Cinnamon, choose “try to lure the bear down. Animals seems to like me.”[/spoiler]
