The Lost Heir Trilogy

Bran’s a cool guy, Though Jess is best girl. When amy went into his room, that was adorable, I wish there was a scene to bond with your child, maybe the night before… the change… (I don’t know how to blur)

I see the class Siren occasionally. What does it do and how do you get it? Does it give you cool options to use like Catalyst and Luck Mage?

Also is there a guide to the classes somewhere with requirements etc? Because that would be ridiculously helpful…

Sorry if there’s one linked above but I don’t have it in me to look through 3840 messages…

Can someone please explain the Catalyst class to me?

Its the bottom option, “Develop my diplomacy and persuasion skills to supernatural levels”. You gain the ability of mind domination, stealing a person’s free will. You do get some unique options, you can even control demons.

Wow. It’s nice that you can broke your ties with thief guild up to lose of class levels. My current character became involved with guild only because it was sole place in Ludd where he could study complex mechanisms…

Thanks, that does sound kinda awesome. Would come in handy to supplement lack of willpower as well.

@dwarva
I normally do a search before, but you don’t always find what you’re looking for. In this case there was no Siren listing in the public guide. Also that is a LH 3 prestige class, the game hasn’t been out very long, so prestige class info is still coming out. So it’s better to ask in those cases concerning LH 3.

I got it once, but I don’t remember the exact stats. However, to get it, Jess needs to go to the Academy after Lost Heir 1. I don’t know if you have to be in a romance with her.

I’ll be playing Lost Heir later today to finish up with some of the class achievements, so I will give this a look then.

It’s ancient technique, Bond between Soulburner and another human. It allows them to draw amazing amounts of power.
And it doesn’t require romance with Jess… but it’s so much more satisfying with it.

From what someone told me earlier, I believe it was 55 endurance, history and arcana for the requirements.

It gives you awesome deadly options if your own skills are lacking. By relying on Jess and your bond, you can easily turn the tide in your favor and win what you may otherwise lose. Plus you get a +20 (I think) in like 2-3 physical stats. I think its endurance, strength and agility, not 100% sure though.

Edit:
Though to get it, you have to have sufficient relationship with Jess 70 I think to learn about her quest. Then take her with you to the Academy. Talk to archmage, you NEED good charm or stealth and or devices. Because if you can’t charm him into letting her read it, you have to steal it. Luckily I was always charming enough (squire gives charm boost) + evil 70+ and 200 gold gets you a +20 charm item. So I don’t know the requirements for stealth and or devices.
After she reads book, you can tell her to use the knowledge or not. Later on there is a scene where you need to cross a river, Jess will whisper to you about using the knowledge (I told her in academy to use it, it may be why I got it as an option) If you use it, no army delays and a little evil. Then in LH 3 when given the option to learn another class, choose the one about Jess and researching her powers and perform the ritual.

Yup, it was me XD
And you right, it raises Agility, Strength, Endurance and Magic on +20

Hey guys, I was wondering if there is any way of saving two of your companions in LH1 as I did that before as a knight

be very fast and be somewhat good with blades, and have high archery

I did it on my own custom run as a guard/druid. I had IMMENSE endurance and strength and my magic/blades were over 80. I also had cloak of spiders but I was powerful enough to win without using it.

  • use magic in amphitheater
  • attack with magic or sword
  • block his attack
  • dagger on guards
  • take hit and rush in ( you take -50 hp I think)
  • use grease spell
  • finish him off with blade ( i did), you could prob use magic too if you want.
  • he dies you get belt.

I’m glad this game gives me the opportunity to allow Lucina to channel her inner alcoholic, unfortunately we can’t fight K’girr drunk as fun as that would be.

Right, your agility would temporarily be boosted to drunken master levels, at the cost of a temporary drop in some others. Can’t dodge to save your life? DRINK you way to success, for the low low price of your reputation and access to Troupe ale, drink yourself into a stupor like Thea for immediate effect. Fine Print: Troupe not responsible for any loss of limb and or relationships from the actions you reap upon the world in your blundering stupor. High endurance required.

@Lucid get on it! we need an Alcoholic class.

I’m just imagining my character drunkinly taunting K’Girr with a mean glare, drunken slurs and an empty wine bottle. Than again, a drunk, violent witch sounds pretty scary.
