The Lost Heir Trilogy

He already told the endings, none of them had implied that my character can remain the king, so I’m worried

The ending names were cryptic though, weren’t they?

She has an aura of superiority, her hostility is appreciated, plus she is educated as well. We can work with that. Your barbarian needs some refinement m’lord. We need to educate her in politics.

Number 1 and 4 are the only endings I don’t like the sound of…

She really hasn’t have it.

It is not.

Only in magic.

She is already a ver refined Lady, if someone say she is not, they will be charged with treason.
The latter can be arranged, she will be the Queen of her own kingdom after all.

Y’all realize that the tribes of the Norgan Mountains are just that - disparate tribes each with their own leadership, right? Even if that were to organize into one political group with a single leader, it wouldn’t likely be as a kingdom with a monarchy at the top. And probably not one that would tolerate charging everyone that criticized said leader with treason.

Yeesh, already imposing on free speech. You’re making a lot of enemies.

You’re ignoring that she’s the one who teaches us willpower.

Because an academy where you live doesn’t teach you things not necessarily related to what you came there for?

By the court, not by you.

See, her unrefined nature is already poisoning you m’lord.

Hey my mistakes are mine alone.

But there is still one question lingering on the people’s mind about the future Norgan Queen and the Soulburner.

Which one is the best cuddler?

So what does “Pending Approval” mean? Approval from apple or approval from COG?

Probably Apple, although it is a long time away from being submitted since it’s still in post production.

She can train you in history at some point during the first game, but even then, I usually go with Gale. She seems fun.

I’m ok with Jess, Gale or Karla. In that order.

Personally, I would say that you just should call them The Lost Heir: The Fall of Daria. In the description it would be made clear early that “The Fall of Daria is the first installment of the trilogy The Lost Heir” or something like that.

We’re a few years down the road from that decision now @Iceblade02

We ended up using the short names Lost Heir 1 and Lost Heir 2. Lost Heir 3 will release soon. The longer names are included in the descriptions, splash pages and other locations.

I think it was the best move. I’d hate for anyone to pick up Demon War and feel that they were tricked in any way by not knowing that it’s the third part of a large story.

Yeah, a bit new to the forum, just noticed the that timeline on the right

Anyhow, I read the free part so far, great story. (Sadly though, I can’t buy stuff via the net yet)

Also, very fast response!

Is it out yet? I want to be out. It should be out already.

Seriously, Lucid, your games are hands down my favorites on CoG and hosted games (particularly Life of a Wizard and TLH series; I attribute this more to the option for stat gain and check reveal option than the fantasy genre aspect, though the fantasy genre aspect is certainly a factor). I really look forward to the conclusion of this series. I’m really glad you’ve made these games.

@Lucid
I just started playing both of the Lost Heir games this week. I’ve rapidly become addicted to them. I do have a few questions.

  1. Is it possible to take Tornassa as anything other than with a character that has a high magic stat?
  2. Will when the spell is performed to find out what the baby is, is it always a girl?

I am really loving the games. Really like Jess/Jace or Gill/Gale as a romantic counterpart. Karl/Karla isn’t too bad either. Petra/Peter is really hard to romance, but that might just be the nature of the character’s job?

My favorite classes are Assassin, Thief, Ranger, and Knight.

Really like your work!

  1. No. It can be taken by a wide variety of character types.

  2. No. It can be a boy as well.
