Only if your relationship with them is lower than with the reporter. If it is higher then the reporter’s the villain

How to not get fused with your twin? I’ve had to playthroughs of the game this far and in the end I fused with them both times.

  1. don’t go to church the day before first or second thing, but go there and try to find as many sigils as you can.
  2. if you found only 1 or 2 sigils and haven’t swapped with your twin yet, take another look around if your investigation is high.
  3. Play the confrontation to your best abilities. main stats here are acrobatics, prowess and the charisma stat iirc
  4. if the M/patriarch tries to escape, check your stats again: pulling them back works with high prowess, following them with high acrobatics, figuring where they go with high investigation.
