The Hero Unmasked Achievement help

Late to the answer:
Learned by now that for Bloodmist you need a high cynical score (apparently Firebrand will turn you down if your idealist score’s too low)

Firebrand is a villain too right? I fail to see why he would turn you down just for high cynicism. Aren’t all villains kinda cynical? Sorry, I never tried his romance bc I tend to choose female ROs unless the male RO is a really interesting character in my standarts, so I’m asking this just out of curiosity.

Firebrand does what he does to help the people of his district, the poorest of the town. While he is very snarky, he tries to help those that need it the most, problem is he cares little about the collateral damage he’s causing, much at least. When there’s people endangered that can’t help themselves he takes care they’ll be out of the line of fire (no pun intended). Like, the first time you encounter him is when he tries to blackmail your studio by having set up a bomb somewhere in the building. He does give everyone inside 15 minutes to evacuate though. Except, as you learn in one path, the big bosses up in their offices… But everyone else gets their chance (even the guard if you think about it… someone’s ought to check, and the way FB is written he counted on that)

(nods) he’s only cynical when it comes to the uncaring rich, I’d say. So if you’re gonna be with him you can’t be cynical about everything.

I see. Thanks for explaining his character to me. Then I guess he is just more pragmatic then idealistic. Tbh I wasn’t so far interested in him enough to try to to know him when I was playing the game.

Bloodmist is probably my least favorite love interest, so it doesn’t matter to me greatly if she wants to go on casino dates or not. (Sorry for the very late reply as I’ve been sort of hiding from this site only because I have too many COGs that I’m playing catch up with as it is and every time I come anywhere near this site, it seems like ten more have been released.)

Bloodmist is an odd case for me. I do feel for her though, learning about her motives.

Also, I recently noticed something, and I hope @Miseri won’t mind if I tag him about this:

At the end, should the M/Patriarch escape and the MC asks their twin if they can identify the location, it often turns out to be the catacombs, unless Bloodmist is dead. It makes sense, of course, but I kinda feel as if this might be a bug meant to be tied to who turns out to be the big bad. To me it seemed to make more sense that it was a warehouse in Dockerstown if Bello is the M/Patriarch, as that’d shine the same eerie light on them being there in ch5 as is shone on CR being in the catacombs (where you can hear something moving down a corridor, which I keep reading as you just miss out on saving your twin (I might read too much into that though, but I enjoy the possibility))

WAIT A MINUTE,

there is a possibility that patriarch can be someone else?!>

Bruh, this game is awsome!

Is there a way to still be with cr even after the whole ordeal ?

if they turned out to be the M/Patriarch,
No. If the reporter turned out to be the m/p, then yes, then you can still get married to the mayor

What effects how that happens? just the relationship stat? @meltingpenguins

Yep. Also cr is so cute if you play it so your genuinely in love x3

Any one knows how to get Mr. Clean achievement? I am still missing 1 rune. How to erase all of the 3 runes?

I thiiiiink in order to get that one you need to get to the cathedral in the evening, sneak after the person, and then look around before the wedding with i think high investigation.

It’s a tricky achievement

How high the stat needs to be?

Heavens if id know. Someone who can check the code might be able to help here

I just found the last rune/sigil… it’s in the crypt. But unfortunately I can’t erase all three rune/sigil in a single playthrough.

As said, if anyone could check the code, for it’s really weird.
It should be

get to the cathedral after talking to one or two other people, follow the figure (don’t attack them) with good acrobatics, and then take ‘on last look around’ before making the switch

Though when I got the achievement I wondered why i found the sigil as, iirc my respective stats were rather low.
A bug maybe?

Is there going to be a sequel???

I talked to the scientist/childhood friend and then I went to see my twin and decided to switch places tomorrow morning. Then I went to investigate the chethedral/church and found all 3 sigil/rune.
