And, yeah, I don’t generally mind having female friends in these games (Joan from The Haze Under Windbrooke is awesome, and only into other girls, especially for @Lizzy ), but April here is bossy and completely inconsiderate of others. Unless she gets some character development sharpish, I really could do without her.
I wish, I could send all the boys to you guys and then have my own little Paradise
Well see I do have male friends in real life (although that comes as quite a shock to some people) but it took them a long time to earn my trust so when I get plopped into a story and see “this guy is your best friend” I tend to already be on the defensive. Over time I sometimes ease up like Garrus from Mass Effect and am like “this guy is cool and he totally is my bestie” (the first time I saw Garrus show up in ME2 I cried because I was so happy to see him). The thing is though Garrus didn’t mess with my relationship with Liara, he wasn’t clingy and no one was whispering that we were a couple
Garrus is the ideal best friend and sometimes lover (if you pursing Garrus). To be honest, I rather like Tristan and before the update, I was thinking, “not another s/o.”
That’s probably because most (all) of the update was focused on the transformation scene which you can only get if you have a specific stat and chose certain choices.
Otherwise the game isn’t that different from before.
Ok, so I know this is spoiler territory, but what are the choices that I have to make in order to activate my transformation and save Tristian? I have tried everything I can think of, but nothing seems to work…
Well, first you have to focus on your strength stat. I also changed it so its easier to get the transformation scene so you don’t have to raise the stat as high as before. Once you do that just pick the choice to break the slime off and the rest should fall into place.
So we can only save Tristian while focusing on strength, ugh! No INT path at all?
As do I, or sometimes I go a little Mara and make them charismatic instead, strength is probably my least favorite playstyle though, so this kind of sucks.
I get that but don’t worry you’ll get plenty of chances to raise up your intellect later on.
You need to at least pick protection for the reason why you think Tristian wants to friends with you. Also, BIG hint: Turn around don’t run. The strength requirement is different for both choices.
Unfortunately no.
But this is one of the rarer scenes where only one stat out of the three (Charisma, Strength and Intellect) can give you a special major scene. Plus you get tons of other chances to raise up your other stats so I hope that makes up for this.
Awww…well then I hope that the mc gets a superior physique out of that early strength focus too. If I must be dumb muscle then let it at least be good-looking dumb muscle.
