i Know those are a lot of games , but they are the most i have played, i will say Choice of Romance was my first game in cog, before that i played Eternal and that game is still one of my favorites haha.
There is a lot of good games to be honest is almost imposible to put them before others but this list is my honest opinión , i whould have added Devon connell but i find his games as of late too linear in a way.

Though I’d say of all I’ve read there’s no such thing as a bad or uninteresting choice game, quality is evenly good in diffrent aspects across most of them, just deoemds in what your looking for, be it a Romance, Win/Fail based on Stats or play your strengts type of game.
My lists for Hosted games are alot less… Lets say original or usefull.

I have nearly all CoG and most HG. My fav are The great tournament series,The lost heir series,Heroes rise series,The infinity series,choice of romance and Wayhaven chronicles.

The Great Tournament was the first (and one of thr only ones) choice game to really impress me. It has a lot of typos and really needs a save system but I just can’t help but keep coming back to it despite these flaws. I also love how the other games by the author (swamp castle, life of mercenary) are in the same universe despite bot being directly related (and there’s of course also the sequal)

Slammed was the absolute biggest surprise to me and I kept putting off that game for the longest time cause I’m just not into wrestling at all but it turned out to be so well written that I now consider it one of my favorites.
I’m gonna limit myself to just my top five or else I’ll be here all day. In alphabetical order:

Samurai Of Hyuga (This just keeps getting better so currently 4th book is my favorite)

In number of sheer order of time spent playing/times I’ve played them, probably Lucid’s catalogue (Life of a Wizard/Mobster and Heir of Daria). I’ve purchased and played most of the games that have been released since I’ve joined (Around when ZE Part 3 released), so picking a favorite would be next to impossible. Biggest surprise was probably Tally Ho, didn’t think I’d get so into wanting to be the absolutely perfect butler.

I have been playing CoG and HG since Choice of Vampire or Choice of Romance came out - I can’t recall which was first of those two, and I have played nearly every offering since.
I remember the day Heroes Rise came out, and how I checked my email obsessively for notifications that the next installment had come out, so even though HR hasn’t aged well, it’s definitely on my list…
