Did I mention āsterling personalityā is etched on the side of this cannon?
Dove is only armed with a pistol but now Iām having a problem trying to shake off the picture of Mega Manās mega buster being on her arm.
The whole thread that ensued from this quote amused me. I can now picture Dove doing some kind of cute anime pose and saying something sweet. Then all of the male opponents would say, āKAWAII!ā and either faint or cease attacking her. Probably similar to Jessica in Dragon Quest VIII (though Dove has a different body type.)
Explain where you get that from.

Well he seems too dim so I thought he would be sloppyā¦not any documentation to support my interpretation thoā¦am I correct??(because I think not)
Hmm, not a lot of documentation at the momentā¦ Head canon is at this stage of the game, the MC doesnāt have his respect. So heās not giving a lot of elaborate chatter to the MC. Heās supposed to be a battle hardened veteran and a tank/dps hybrid (to put it in MMO terms.) I intended to flesh him out more in Chapter 3.
I could be falling victim from a lack of āshowing.ā Anyone else getting this vibe?
Yeah I read that he was a vet but during the battle sequence Grizzly seems more āveteranā than him
Grizzly hardly talked though and was just spraying lasers. :-/

He followed the orders of Lynx, who he respected. So again, Iām confused as to where this is coming from.
Iām just biased against vets who arenāt leaders because it means they have some fundamental flaws meaning they would probably be less compliant to orders from younger people who outrank them
Honestly, I did not see/sense a problem. I took him as one of those veterans who just didnāt talk. Like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino.
Thatās the thing: Lynx is definitely younger than he is. He could be her dad, tbh. He follows her because sheās definitely capable.

What do you mean? If you mean if Iāll flesh it out, then yes. Chapter 3 will have more character building than you can shake a stick at.

So far, so good. 
In other news, I need some opinions. Imagine your melee weapon of choice vs. 2 normal humans. Would you expect your MC to make quick work out of them or would you want a fight to last longer. If the latter, how long would it take to make you feel like you had a āgoodā fight.
Remember, some people would feel satisfied with Indiana Jones shooting the guy waving his sword around in Raiders. Something that I am parodying because, letās face it, you do have a freaking gun on you. Why waste time beating people up with a blade?
