"Pon Para and the Unconquerable Scorpion"—Raise an army to save reality itself!

Para’s codex entry says she’s originally from the Goat Clan, but in GSL I chose the Thorn Tribe for her origin.

I recommend you send this to support@choiceofgames.com, if you haven’t already. That’s the most reliable way to make sure a problem is brought to the attention of someone who can fix it.

I took the choice asking Mel to save both boats as commanding because…well, she doesn’t want to, so you have to push her to do it.

As for the tablet thief, you find out pretty early that Seilaq is masquerading as a priest, so you have to find out in which temple he is hiding.

The most direct way to find out would be finding the colour of his disguise’s mantle, but you will always fail to do that. However you can find out by other hints: for example, are his moccassins muddy? When visiting the temples, you will note that there’s mud on the ground in the temples of Faraam and Kadomis. If the shoes aren’t muddy, then he must be hiding in the other three temples. The hints are the state of the moccassins, the state of Seilaq’s mantle (or better, the feathers on it: thanks to Clannath you find out feathers get discolored near sooth, which means the temples of Mirak and Jann) and the instrument he bought (abacus or tablets. Again, when visiting the temples you will note who uses what).

Hope that was helpful!

That did it! I’ve just ran a test save and for some reason the clue review page doesn’t mention if the moccasins are dirty or clean like the mantle, which is what through me off.

In the PP1 the clue review page records everything, and since I forgot the state of the moccasins by the time I had to choose I missed an important clue, perhaps an oversight?

Anyway this is exactly what I needed, cheers!

The review page recorded that the moccasins were dirty in my playthrough. Maybe it doesn’t if they’re clean?

IIRC, in PP1 the clue review page also didn’t record if the voice was male.

I’ve tried all of this a bunch and can only get an high as 58. Can someone post or message me a screen shot of the romance scene just so I can see it because I don’t think I can get to 61 🥲

You can message me if you want and I’ll send you the screen, but I’ll try giving you pointers if you feel like trying again: it sounds like you’re barely missing the mark, so maybe you can make it by just allocating one more stat point in athletics or burglary primarily, but artisan or mariner could work too…depends on your character of course. I had to put the bonus training the Condors can offer you at the end of PP1 into athletics to manage to reach the mark, with my previous build i only managed to get 58 too. Also, I assume you picked all the options I mentioned in an earlier post to get points, right?

Yea, though I don’t ever see an option to Ally with riqqi - only truces so maybe that’s it? I choose the option where I say fighting will only exhaust us let’s talk and I’m always able to get her to agree.

I can’t see galimar stats until after we form an alliance after sneaking into the hotel but at that point I’m usually between 40-51. Everything after that point, successfully stealing the staff etc etc only gets me to 58 by the point where you can revisit the romance or start it if you haven’t.

I’ve both started from scratch and used old saves. I always take the chance to talk with him and then truce during the battle and have him checked on.

I normally have expert diplomat, then skilled warrior, burglar, and scholar traits. I’m usually blessed in charisma, renowned in grace, and well educated with weak will. I pass all of the checks from the above scenarios so I’m not sure why I’m not getting enough points.

If you see any gaps I’d love input but if not I’d love a messaged screen shot cuz I’m all out of ideas

I love these games!!! Kinda want too be a spell thief of the rage god or death god. That’d be so fun. Rage spell thief vs rage priest lol :joy:

Hmm… Another continuity break, I guess? In first game I choose option to use Condors to became their leader. This lead to scene of me and Tamur attacking Condor’s contact, which is a little bit strange… But in the end game said that I became Condor’s leader in Mytele. In second game everything was fine at first, with me being criminal mastermind of Mytele… But then in Behemoth mountain I got option to look for something from Beggar’s map. Problem is that I haven’t met beggar on this play through.

In GSL, I ended as a master thief, right? Funny story.

I had the option of telling Tamur about my protag leading the Condors of Patabesh. At first I was worried he was mad because he was like “I knew it! I knew you brought the condors to Mytele!” But when I offered him a cut of “profits” he was all for it. Siiiigh~ I love my morally questionable boyfriend.

Does anyone know how high your relationship stat needs to be with Clannath to romance her AND Melaxu? If so, what choices did you make to raise Clannath’s relationship stat?

How do you romance zoriza?

uhm there is hardly anything happening on a romance with melaxu, clannath or both. Is it just me or there is barely any romance/lewd scene in this game? Maybe I was just unlucky…
Melaxu in the first book is hesitant, which is completely understandable, given hers and yours situation in that game. Only kisses and affectionate touches between her and the MC, and that is fine.

2nd book, however, I expected more tbh. I understand there is barely any time for romance in the current world of pon para, but when there IS time, the author drops the plot on top of our heads when things get exciting and the viewers demands some action. In this game I romanced melaxu and clannath and I thought I would be seeing some love in this one.

I’m not trying to sound like I play these games for the romance alone, but they ARE a big reason why I play them, for sure. @Moochava That said, please do not view what I wrote above as a rude comment and perhaps from your POV, a demanding one. These 2 books are amazing and its been such a pleasure to read them, you are such a talented writer! Can’t wait for the finale!

There is a love scene with Melaxu tho? The one during Zoz’s party. The scene where you caught Mel and Clannath flirting w each other is fun too. But yes, these things are few and most of the time the romance options were mixed w plot options making it hard choose.

Really hoping for (soon…ish?) patch. Game still have problems with continuity when you first decide to betray Condors and talk to Tamur, then follow their missions and join them at the end.
When following such path, for some reason, I’m not meeting Beggar in chapter 3 of the second game.

Also, for some reason I didn’t get option to chose reward from Beggar at the end of first game, despite delivering all Tablets.

How to romance Clannath while already romance melaxu?

never thought I’d complain about that but… there are just too many options per choice, it got overwhelming and I just started choosing whatever. I couldn’t really enjoy reading because of that

I’ve tried three times and it hasn’t worked for me yet, but is it possible to romance Melaxu and Col? It always ends up with Melaxu getting angry and breaking up with me.
