Have you tried picking one of the more difficult options for the negotiation? Or maybe try one of the other two paths (Sword or Wisdom Engine) and botch it: I think the non-alliance Raun path is supposed to be your last resort should you fail securing your objective in the Sunset House.

You totally can; I romanced Melaxu in PP1 and still had no trouble going for the throuple in PP2.

I’ve built characters specifically to fail the negotiations and even done everything possible to irritate Galimar (even if it doesn’t matter), but I still pass every time. I’ll try failing the others paths and see if the option pops up.
So eager to play again as my boy Garumandar and perphaps romance a noble this time around if possible?Taking over Hetch if dear mother let us(survived on my playthrough) and damn some Kingdom building would be great.
Can you romance both Melaxu and Hyraani? When I asked to be with both Hyraani said no but is that just because my relationship wasn’t high enough?

Anyone else has issues with relationships from imported characters? My relationship with Melaxu went from 80 down to 60, breaking continuity and the game is now behaving as if we arent already in a relationship. Tamus relationship also dropped back to 60.

The score drops are supposed to happen, apparently. Mine dropped from 83 to 61, but the game remembered our relationship.
This is from the author, when I asked about it:
They get bumped down a bit between the games (or up a bit, if they’re very low) because time passes and because the fairmath that underpins percentiles won’t show much progress if your stats are extremely high or low.

Well dang if thats the case then I really wish that time passage was also reflected in our character wounds healing. I’ve apparently kept the same bad injuries trough an entire season

Errrr… I forget. Maybe just before the banquet? Certainly before you do the preparations for the scorpion hunt.
This might sound weird but I kinda wish Col was a romanceable caracter, I know he is old but Melaxu is old too no?
But at the same time I can see why it’s weird, and besides i dont think Para would approve of this.
Anyway does anyone knows if there is going to be another book? I still haven’t finished it yet
