I asked @jasonstevanhill permission to post several links from Vampire the masquerade and World of darkness Youtubers so I will post some here in case people want to see playthroughs or impressions. However, the best way to support Cog is buying the game.
First, primogen a very solid WOD player is doing a let’s play.
Second Misquerade a very small channel with a very different approach from Primogen. This is 30 minutes first contact. It could help you to find if you want to buy it or not.
Is there any diablerie in this game (besides the plot related one in the past)? I wanted to diablerize the old nosferatu Reremouse but the option wasn’t there once he was defeated.
Other than that, this was a cool tale and I liked the couple of references to Bloodlines that I noticed. I played pretty mercenary, but I always did the job as paid. I didn’t get any romance options except Julian, anyone know who else is an RO? I think it’s because my humanity was so low (though I will argue that doing whatever you can to stay alive is very human).
Same. My mc saw him at the camp, asked around and found out his name, freed the prisoners…yet still didn’t get to meet him or find out anything about him? Kind of felt like a loose end.
You have the options to romance Julian, Prince Lettow, Vani Anand (one of the NPCs you meet for your journey to Dr. Caul), and I think Elena Prodan, the owner of the Pawn Shop? Not completely positive of Elena as an RO, but I think it’s a possibility.
How do you romance Vani?
If you want to diablerize Reremouse you need certain Convictions. Perpetuate Your Existence and Defy the Traditions needs to be high.
Dunno. Haven’t tried it but I know there’s the option to get into a relationship with her after you’ve completed her quest.
How do I raise my convictions though? I always get 1 or 2 and sometimes they decrease then increase, like there’s no fixed state of my convictions.
Did the discipline of fortitude work for anyone?
Convictions are raised through actions and dialogue according to your behavior. As the name implies you increase Defy the Traditions by bucking the rules and conventions of vampire society, badmouthing the Camarilla, etc. Perpetuate Your Existence is increased by prioritizing your own survival and well being, especially at the expense of others, and by generally being selfish.
Basically if you want to diablerize Reremouse you need to have no respect for vampire traditions (diablerie being the worst taboo there is) and you need to be self-centered enough to be willing to literally devour someone’s soul for a power boost.
Has anyone been able to recruit Raúl?
No, I think the encounter is not triggering in the camp.
I have submitted a ticket, I haven’t seen anyone saying they have recruited him.
Has anyone found out how exactly we can lower the Mc’s generation aside from diablerizing the Elder? I know there’s a path where we can adjust the blood using science, but haven’t found out how to do it yet. Appreciate any help.

Interesting, I’ll have to try again. Basically I had high PYE but also high Respect Traditions because I was trying to use the Cam for survival (sorry, but Julian just seems cuckoo and also a fast ticket to dustville). I was very “do the job, get paid” my first run.
I love Julian like a stupid annoying little brother but he is pretty cuckoo.
Probably one of my favorite scenes so far was when Lettow gets fed up with Julian’s flimflammery and just starts slapping him around like a ragdoll. It was hilarious.
Is there any way to do something similar for the browser or IOS version?
For people with questions about Raul I managed to get an interaction with him by going to the border camp FIRST and doing all the events involving helping them escape
Are you using the mobile version or the PC version? Cause on the Steam one, it doesn’t trigger Raul.
To unlock it’s power.
Luckily on my first route I sided with Julian, played as a clanless, chose to drink his blood and gained access to his disciplines. Blood sorcery being one.
I had enough exp to max it out and did so. I then chose the option to investigate the blood. There are multiple options to find out what it is. But I assume they won’t let you use it. Luckily I chose blood sorcery to investigate/talk to my blood to find out what it was. Then used blood magic again to unlock it’s power.
You have lots of choices, you can unlock or increase any discipline which also increases certain stats each time. I was able to upgrade 3 times before it didn’t let me anymore. I unlocked fortitude and maxed it out that way. Though increase generation is an option, I’m not sure if you use that option, if it will allow 2 more upgrades or use it up.
