I don’t think so, she leaked your location to low level hunters as part of the plan, but the SI had probably infiltrated them. I think that’s how they got the drop on you.
I support this fact and this is why i always kill invidia and it didn’t matter if she is your sire
Yeah it’s either what you mentioned or the SI was already on her tail and she knew it (wouldn’t be surprised since Lettow was already worried about the Masquerade with her operation) and she decided to get rid of two birds with one stone by faking her death.
The one thing that always confused me about the whole indivia thing is Why did the SI kill the hunters? They clearly had some skill in what they were doing and were motivated. Just give them a few years of training and boom, new hunters.
SI are are largely compose of intelligence agencies combine with hunters from the society of leopold, due to secrecy of other agencies combine with society zealots nature they always wipe out witnesses be it civilians or independent hunters, that’s why the SI kill them
In short eliminate target be it primary or secondary target and the most important thing leave no witnesses be it civilians or hunters
I need help on two issues:
Summary
I can’t kill Invidia and I would also like to know how to gain more experience.
You can earn more experience by staying true to your convictions. Picking choices that is akin to your convictions.
what about killing Invidia?
whenever I try, she can escape or defeat me.
just make sure you’re strength or dexterity is high and have either 2 combat or fireams dots
if you have either potence, protean, or celerity discpline, use it to compensate for your lack of combat abilities or give yourself a better edge to kill her
Well after having played through as every one of the clans(and not one that typically concerns themselves with achievements), I have two achievements uncollected.
Saboteur - I have defeated Caul, but not managed to destroy the facility … I guess
Thrall - I am pretty sure, I know how to do that one, but I really had no interest in romancing anyone in this game, as that is not really the core of V:tM.
So what I really want to know is how did I miss destroying the facility or was it the other facility I was supposed to destroy? If someone can tell me how to accomplish this achievement, I might just surrender and get both for completionist sake.
You have to shoot the acid tube or sabotage the electrical wire when facing invidia
How do I side with the Second Inquisition at the end of the game? In all my playthroughs, Donati doesn’t trust me and thinks I’m lying to her about the Viper being invisible and wanting to side with SI (which is kind of hilarious because for once, a vamp is telling the truth)
Idk if i am the only one but everytime i feed in missions all of the people die, i built a high resolve and composure caracter but they still kill while feeding, i lost my humanity after the first mission

Don’t let your hunger get too high, also stop using your vampire abilities at every opportunity. I focused on using skill and that allowed me to complete most missions without ever needing to feed. When hunger is 5 and Will is 4 you will inevitably not be able to stop feeding. There are a couple of feeding opportunities that will always drain the victim dry(Dr. Caul’s facility has one and I think Dallas has one) @Ambr13L1
I tried not using abilities, and having 0 hunger and 5 will points but still kills the target. Is not that i can’t go without people but i tryed roleplaying as a seducer but that kiss is to mortal
Well certain missions will because the target is either too weak or your desire is too high. Also I never fed unless hunger was 3.
dont feed unless its very necessary, like your hunger is up 3
Well now i roleplay as a vampire who is having trouble with controling themself while feeding and only doing it with other in the room to stop them, is kind of chellenging when i see “where should i feed” and remeber what should i hunt.
Yeah, system for accidentally killing people while feeding is broken. It’s operating on this “messy criticals” mechanic where if you succeed too much, you screw things up and the beast takes over. This can be argued to make a degree of sense, maybe, in combat. But for social interactions it’s nonsense - you’re being too charming, so you lose control and drain somebody? Crazy. Really should not have been implemented there.
A higher degree of hunger (compared to willpower) makes you more likely to trigger these, but if you’re very charismatic you’ll be draining them dry regardless.
edit: If I were designing such a system myself, I think I might reverse the way it functions. If you hit the target with own normal skills, you keep control and suffer no negative consequences. If not, then if adding the magnitude of your hunger penalty is enough to hit the target, you succeed but end up draining them.
Would work better from a perspective of game design, not penalizing you for being highly skilled. Wouldn’t make a ton of in-world sense, since a vampire should probably not be more capable of seduction when ravenously hungry than when not. But the current system doesn’t make sense in-world either, so.
