Personally, I’m not. And there’s likely to be a good chunk of people who won’t be interested either. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t write it. It took me awhile to realize that unless I want to make a living off my writing, I shouldn’t try to appeal to the widest audience possible. I should write what I want, and the right audience will find me. I always tried to make a gender selectable MC with gender selectable ROs because that’s the standard. But the coding was too much and I don’t really know how to write anything close to explicit if it isn’t a straight couple. So I eventually decided to write for the straight girlies, and hope that they like it. And hope everyone else is ok with it

Totally understand. Same for me in regards to straight romance, since I am often (not always) rubbed a bit wrong by the couple dynamics and how some stereotypes are handled.
But aside from personal preference, I really want to write a genderlocked female story which is set in a kind of medieval inspired world (the usual influenced by Martin). With a focus on the gender aspect but also the opportunity to be an absolutely unhinged character.
I know it will be very niche (seeing as the amount of WLW games on here is… low) but that’s the exact story I want to write.

Honestly, as a straight guy, I can play a COG game that is gender-locked female, but I wouldn’t romance anyone otherwise nothing would change for me.

For those who are still interested in any of these games, as you may have noticed Nightingale and Gilded Cage have slammed the poll. Because the difference between them is so small, I have decided to work on both at the same time.
I will prepare the Prologues/First Chapters for both and then I will go back and forth monthly. One month I update the one, the other the other.

Summary
You are a demon or spirit that has lived in the Demon/Spiritual World your whole lifetime until one fateful day, a human exorcist summons you to become their spiritual protector. Trapped by a magical contract against your will, you seek a way to return to your old life, with your family. In your desperation for freedom, you convince yourself that you’re willing to do whatever it takes.
As fate would have it, you’re now burdened with the exorcist’s problems. You must now assist him in hunting and capturing other spirits and demons. The question that haunts you is this: To what extent will you push the boundaries for your own liberation, and what are you willing to forfeit in the process?

Its so nice to finally get to post my ideas here! I’ve been contemplating this idea for some time, and while I haven’t created a demo yet, l’ve still been doing some planning on the storyline and overall concept.
First off, this might be a rather unusual concept to make a game of, considering the subject matter involved, and seeing as how this concept might contain some highly religious themes, I’d like to proceed with caution.
But without further ado, here’s the concept:
The story is set in the dawn of creation, or more specifically, in the time of Noah, before the great flood. The time when giants roamed the earth and angels walked among humans.
You play as angel, one of the many holy beings sent by God to watch over mankind in the early days of creation. However, when you are assigned to be the guardian of Enoch’s son, Methuselah as well as his descendants, you soon come to realize the weight of such responsibility, but you accept it with gratitude at the faith bestowed to you.
But in a world where darkness lurks in every corner, powerful and mighty beings of myth roam the earth, and demonic forces plot for your downfall, will you arise a hallowed warrior of light? Or will you embrace the darkness that tempts the hearts of the most pure.
Basically a story where you play as a guardian angel. Fight the forces of darkness, or embrace the darkness and fall. It’s your choice, you write your story. (I plan to have several endings and outcomes) a story that is heavily based on the story of the Book of Enoch, and Giants.
This story might be a bit different from others, like your m/c is not allowed to pursue a romantic relationship, but it doesn’t mean there won’t be possibilities for it.
What you can expect:
• A setting like no other: set during the time before the cataclysmic flood in the book of Genesis. Explore a diverse world filled with giants and legendary creatures of myth.
• Meet significant biblical figures, such as Lamech and Noah.
• Epic battles: fight against demons, giants, mighty men of renown, and even other angels.
• Forbidden romances: capture the heart of humans, a demon, or even another angel.
• And much more

Definetely an original idea around here. It reminds me a little of the book Noah Primeval. I read it a long time ago, but I remember at the time thinking it would be an interesting idea for a video game.

Ahhh I’ve never posted on here before, sorta scary.
I’ve been wanting to post an intro post on tumblr but I figure I should do an interest check first.
Death wish- that’s the title. It’s basically about MC who works as a journalist. They are super absorbed into their work, mainly because they aren’t very good at it. Every story they want to write either gets turned down or scrapped. This pushes them to get sucked into work. Work, work, work. Their partner barely ever sees them anymore and they always miss dinner.
MC gets a call one day. They are informed that their partner has been found deceased. The autopsy comes back, murder! The investigation goes on for a couple months before all leads dry up. The case is closed much to the MC’s dismay. They decide to take it upon themselves to get revenge.
Mc becomes a vigilante, albeit a terrible one. They can’t fight, not especially smart, definitely not very charismatic, and certainly not rich. Not even MC’s father-in-law is much help, even though he is the mayor.
Along the way, the MC can meet, befriend or even romance five characters. Sarah Mei, the coworker who is dragged into the mess. Nikolai Popov, the informant who really just wants to take a five year long nap. Eli/Ellie Warren, an ex-hero who just wants to get back in the game. Juliet/Julien Parrish, the socialite whose cold exterior hides, the heart eyes they are secretly sending the MC. And finally Death himself, the suspect of the MC’s partners death (Messed up I know).
The MC and their companions are dragged into the underworld of Esper. They soon come to the realization that the work is much more dangerous than expected. The rotten roots of Esper do far deeper than imagined. It’s not long before the mission turns into a death wish.
(This is the first time I’ve written in awhile so it isn’t perfect but I truly like the idea. Just want to know if it sounds interesting or if I should work on it more.)

So far from what you’ve written it sounds pretty cool! The fact that the Mc is just horrible at everything they do allows for a lot of different outcomes like funny training montages or the gaining of some mythical abilities that they may or may not be bad at too depending on how it goes. All in all sounds like a really cool idea!

I would love to romance more non binary or agender ROs 
I am not sure there is a ton of useful information to be gained from a poll as broad as that - perhaps more specific discussion like the interesting discussion on the polls you made the other month may be more fruitful (and if I am going to be very honest, it is a bit tiring to hear a lot about whether people find certain demographics attractive). If you would like to write more nonbinary romances, please do go ahead and do it regardless of numbers!
