Thank you! Yeah I’ve always liked the concept of fey deals, especially surrounding names, so I’m excited to incorporate that throughout the story
I’ve started writing my interactive novel and it’s a high-fantasy with gender choice the book is called. The Hive and its a choice script game about being a hive leader of the Aracnios hive in a world of humanoid insects. that fight for control. of land and resources. you are a Aracnios leader and most other hives fear yours for your people’s. hunger that can only be sated with others. blood so basically. you have. to try and keep your species safe and alive while making allies and enemies when taking. land and feeding
I plan on making. 3 main routes like pacifists neutral and genocide
if you think I should make a demo please let me know and any feedback is welcomed
This sounds nice
Wow! You’ve got me at choosing my species. Fun fact, my real name is actually ‘Therion’. So that’s pretty neat. Anyway, time to become a cool space man and get me some space bread crumbs.
@Pigeon Oh wow! That’s awesome!
I love your name btw what a weirdly cool synchronicity!
I had in mind to write a wip with 2 MC.
Here comes the question :
Should i write the wip where you can play both of them in a single game or should i make the reader choose which MC play in the beginning?
Thanks!!!
p.s only one of the two MC now the existence of the other, is not like Fallen Hero.
It is a good idea. I think it depends on how the two MC interact/affect each other and the plot. I mean, even if you don’t unos that someone is there, you can do something that affects them. For example, you put a bomb in a building that you think is empty. But you were wrong and the other character is trapped in the basement. So your choice of how much time you set for the bomb to explote, also set the time for the other to escape.
In one hand, it might make more sense to play altenante chapters. On the other it could be better to finish one story before starting the other.
That sounds like a fantastic idea, a cool deviation from the standard human villages concept. One thing that would be really cool is if maybe your character starts as a grunt from another hive and you need to work your way up to eventually overthrowing the throne and becoming the new Hive Leader. Just a thought. But yeah, definitely make this game!
I think thats a fantastic idea to have 2 MCs in the same play through! Maybe as a heroic duo, or boyfriend/girlfriend kind of thing. Whatever story you end up choosing, I love the idea of being two separate people. Just be careful to fully develop both, or else one of the two will seem less human, especially in a story where the two characters are inter-linked.
Hi, everyone!
I am now starting to work on a game called “Maybe I’ll Tell You I Love You”. (working title)
This is the first work in nameless series of supernatural fiction and superhero fiction or maybe standalone work. This series tells of two families, about love, betrayal and hidden past.
This work will tell about the supernatural world of my series.
In the game you can:
- Play as male, female, nonbinary; gay, straight, bi, gray ace
- Reveal the secrets of the forgotten past and what happened in childhood.
- Find out why you see ghosts and other spirits, about your powers and real family
- Find out why the ghost of your dead best friend or dead ex is haunting you (best friend route, ex-boyfriend/girlfriend/lover route); find out why your boyfriend/girlfriend/lover is following you, even though you said you broke up (lover escaped route), find out why your best friend is following you (best friend escape route)
Summary of the work
You’re everything I ever wanted, but… You’re also my nightmare. You’re my ghost. No matter how much I try to escape from my past, it will still catch up with me wherever I am.
I didn’t want those powers. I just want to live a normal life.
I don’t want to keep seeing these ghosts and spirits that drive me crazy.
But I will still have to face the past to find out the secret that is hidden in it.

My Blog
Oo I like the plot
Good day, English is not my first language but i hope people can tell me if they like the plot of my story. I was greatly inspired by Choice of Rebels and i thought about how would a cold war era aesthetic and high fantasy setting would work.
The First Corcordian war has ended, your kingdom was spared from the onslaught but it also was in the hands in a rather incompetent, authoritarian and corrupt ruler. You always dreamed of revolution since you were young and alongside your friends and the support of certain groups you managed to end the rule that had put your nation in a era of darkness through a bloodless revolution…but there is still work to be done.
-Play as either as a person of the common or as a blue blooded mage with a debatable claim to the throne
- Let the wind of freedom go through your people or guide them with a strong fist
- Embrace a republican state, uphold the tradition of the crown or form a entirely new ideology
-Start relationships with your fellow leaders of the revolt and new faces, your pacifist and idealistic colleague, a headstrong but determined warrior, the shy noble that also has a debatable claim to the throne or the mysterious person that has helped you in your ascend to leadership.
-Deal with the problems that your predecessor has leaved in the kingdom, economic crisis, social tension, poor infrastructure and living in the past compared to other countries. - Please or anger the interest groups of the magical nobility, the nation’s military or the common people.
-See and react to the consequences of the war: diaspora of certain people that can change your country in a way or another, the rapid industrialization that threatens the magic status quo or other things - Become member of the recent Republican Pact ,be a beacon of the Alliance of Kingdoms or start your own path free from foreign intervention
- Interact with your western and eastern neighbors that share a similar past history but have taken radically different political paths. Ally one to stop the other, reconcile them or perhaps take over the two and reform the ancient Human Empire?
- Do hard choices to safeguard the revolution, or let it be defeated?
I haven’t thinking hard about names for most political entities but i will try them to be more impactful hahaha.
This sounds amazing! I’m for sure interested!
Hey everyone! After several years, I have now (kind of) figured out choice script and I have both the time and dedication! Now all I need is the voice of the people. I definently want to write something medieval themed, but you can choose!
“If there is no path before you, create your own.”
- A disenfranchised noble working to build his fame until the day comes where he can retake his throne, and maybe the world!
- In a world of intrigue and tyranny, one knight stands alone in his crusade to restore power to the people
- An evil tyrant seeking to control to realm with an iron fist
- A rising Viking lord seeking to make his fame and fortune raiding the English coats

There isin’t much games where the mc is the evil tyrant so that would be amazing.
I’m thinking most likely I’ll do my first game as you playing the sole knight. However, I’d like to write a sequel, set in the same world, but where you play as the tyrant. Both sides of the same story.
Hey everyone!! I’ve held a long time interest in interactive fiction games, and I’ve finally gained enough courage to start up a WIP for my first one! Even though this story has been planned for 6 years now (originally as a comic), I’m excited to see if I can make it work in this format! Also, this story takes place in an alternate universe in order to make some aspects of the plot work!
Summary + Background
The game, working title Attollo, is a cyber noir thriller set in a walled city located off the coast of New Hampshire (and by off the coast, I mean a fair distance into our dear Atlantic). Attollo has been isolated from the community since ‘The Rapture’ occurred. This is an incident dating 34 years back in which an underground nuclear facility operated by major Attollo business ‘Lacheln Inc.’, in their bid to catch up with the trend of nuclear power, experienced a surge that resulted in a massive radioactive leakage into the city. What came from this was a rise in genetic mutations that resulted in ‘superpowers’-people possessing abilities that shouldn’t exist. Attollo was subsequently closed off using numerous ‘wards’ to keep people from entering or exiting the city. Everyone believed, once this was completed, that the city would be an essential no man’s land. Unfortunately, things don’t always go as planned.
Enter: you.
After several years of radio silence, you receive a message from your younger sibling that carries a strange sense of urgency to it. Either out of familial concern, or boredom, you embark on a journey from your Newfoundland residence to your siblings apartment in New Hampshire to see what’s wrong. What you didn’t anticipate was to find yourself pulled through a portal via a gas station glory hole to a city that shouldn’t exist.
Deal with cults, interdimensional entities, and far too many people with superpowers (where, for once, you’re the odd one out) in your journey to bring your sibling back from an underworld far out of your control.
Features
- Identify as female, male, or non-binary with the option of asexual, bisexual, gay, straight, or pansexual
- Customize your background, including parental relationship and career (from doctor to retail worker), personality, and appearance
- Work with a vigilante group, or maybe hang out with a cult member for the day.
- Shut down an underworld or play your hand in taking over it all
- Try to keep your anxiety in check as you find yourself in life-risking situations where only your skills (and a guy who knows far too much about the Attollo grid-system) can come to your aid
- Don’t touch the unidentified slime. Seriously, don’t.
- And, of course, cool code names.
Stats you can have so far
- Brawn v Cunning
- Charming v Intimidating
- Honest v Deceptive
- Pure v Corrupt (how invested in the underworld are you?)
- Anxiety (choices you make will be critical for this. Push your anxiety too high, and you may find yourself debilitated)
- Intellect, Physique, Acumen and Agility
- Numerous bonds with characters (how high the bond will play key roles as well)
Romance Options (ofc)
-
Pariah (NB, Early 20’s, true identity unknown) - Attollo’s resident vigilante and the leader of the Triumvirate, a group of three that are working together to put an end to the criminal underworld run by The Crowes Court and Ovo. Pariah was born in Attollo post-Rapture and demonstrated their abilities of darkness manipulation at a very early age. They’ve been working to wipe out the underworld since they were a teenager, alongside their companions, and carry themselves with a stern, standoffish personality earned from being in the city for too long. Pariah stands at about 5’6” with a helmet and visor that covers their appearance, although their skin appears to be a rich, russet-brown color. Pariah also appears to have hearing loss on their right side, which they attribute to an incident that occurred at the beginning of their career. Pariah is asexual and is one of the routes where suggestive content will not be included.
-
Detective Vasilisia Solovev (F, Early 30’s) - Vasilisia’s family heralds from St. Petersburg and immigrated to Attollo before The Rapture occurred. Vasilisia is one of the few individuals working for Attollo’s singular police department, the CAP, working as an undercover operative for several years before being promoted to the homicide/robbery squad. Vasilisia has extensive knowledge of powered individuals abilities, having been born before the first powered individual was, and uses a database designed by the CAP and The Operator to detail powers currently present in Attollo. Vasilisia has short cut blonde hair that she keeps pushed back from her face and stands at approximately 5’4”. She’s known to be a sympathetic individual who will go above and beyond to help those in need. She has a firm belief in the work of the Triumvirate and hopes to see an end of the underworld trade in the future.
-
The Operator (M, Early 30’s, true identity unknown) - The Operator is a bit of an enigma in Attollo. Because the city no longer has connections to mainlands, Attollo runs on its own electrical grid, which is subsequently controlled by The Operator who moderates all transmissions and camera footage in the city. The Operator has been present since The Rapture, but it is assumed that the current Operator is a second-generation worker. The Operator is presumed to be a male in his early thirties. When he makes an appearance (for example, on the jumbo screen in Attollo’s entertainment district at one point), he is depicted as a black silhouette with a white line for his mouth that moves with every word. He works with neither Ovo nor Triumvirate, but rather maintains a perfectly neutral ground. He’s been described as a playful individual who holds a great deal of passion for both his job and the city, as well as an interest in the development of the city’s political circles. He takes a special interest in the MC for their position as an outsider as well as a non-powered individual.
-
Dreamwalker (M, Late 20’s, true identity unknown) - A boogeyman that is known to enter the dreams of Attollo residents. His powers consist of dream manipulation and embodiment, allowing him complete control over an individual’s dreams while they remain asleep. Reports have been detailed that injuries inflicted by the Dreamwalker in this sleep-realm can be reflected on the individual in the physical realm. Dreamwalker is, therefore, the main suspect for several murders ordered out by the organization Ovo and stands as one of Attollo’s most wanted powered individuals. He has been described as a male in his late 20’s, standing at approximately 5’11 with a thin build. Despite not being able to recall exact features, many people do remember his eyes, which they describe as akin to two golden suns. He is known to present himself with a polite mannerism, has a grim sense of humor, and is incredibly cunning in his tactics.
-
Sysba (Gender selected by player, age indeterminate, original name: ‘Ymnar) - Sysba is an interdimensional being that is believed to be an Outer God, spawned by another for the purpose of destruction. Sysba has the ability to morph their form into any appearance they choose, and therefore has no set appearance. However, Sysba has frequently been reported to take on the appearance of Asian descent, with black eyes and black hair, and often stands between 5’7”-6’2” depending on the gender of their form. Those who have seen Sysba’s true form fail to truly describe it, but do point out that the great gaping maw with multiple rows of teeth stands out a fair amount. Sysba is known to be affiliated with Ovo, and is aware of the Dreamwalkers identity. Sysba is known to be charming and enjoys gambling, which at times has been costly for Ovo. It is unknown how they feel about the human race, given that they were banished to Earth unwillingly, but so far they haven’t tried to wipe it out.
-
Suha Sobhi (F, Mid 20’s) - Employed by The Crowes Court, the current heads of Attollo’s underworld, Suha is the face of Attollo’s business realm and is the first individual anyone who wants to deal with The Crowes Court meets. Her past is murky, but she has been under the care of The Crowes Court since she was a child, leading to rumors that she may be the pending heir. Suha is of Middle Eastern descent and wears a hijab alongside her typical business attire. She stands at approximately 5’7” and is a passionate individual who finds it difficult to detect sarcasm. She has a strong commitment to The Crowes Court and her career, controls several sections of the underworld, and is committed to wiping out the threat that is Ovo in order to maintain The Crowes Court’s current position of authority.

I have a blog where I’m posting updates and more content! https://attollo.tumblr.com/
Thank you so much for reading!! Please let me know your thoughts and if this may be of any interest! Cheers!!
This sounds awesome! Radioactive superpowers, cyber noir, AND interdimensional entities? Sign me up!
Sounds really interesting. You should totally start working on it.
If you can write a character that one can relate to despite not being able to customize everything I personally wouldn’t mind at least giving it a chance, though I’m sure presets are a deal breaker for some people
