Okie dokie, so these were the results of my six search queries pls ignore what time it is in these screenshots, my sleeping schedule is a mess, lol including the queries themselves in case you'd like to confirm the results for yourself (none of the results I got were hidden, so you would see the same results as me).
This one searched for the word ‘deliverance’ in the opening post of the #hosted-games:works-in-progress category.
There were eight results, but none of them resemble the game as described in the above linked devblog. There was a sci-fi game, a game where you were (are?) a fish, a game where you’re a pizza delivery person (also sci-fi), one where you’re a god, one where I think you’re in actual hell(?), an interest check for a Sleepy Hollow inspired game, a solarpunk game, and another sci-fi game where you’re a mercenary.
This one checked for the word deliverance in the opening post of any threads in the #off-topic:other-interactive-fiction category as the devblog mentions that it is/was(?) on itch.io, so it might also be a twine game. Zero results.
Speaking of the devblog, it seems that the player character was referred to as the Messenger so I ended up using that info in the following queries.

There’s one where you’re Satan, two of them are about witches, one of them just described itself as a hero’s journey but the setting appears to be European-inspired instead of SEA as mentioned in the devblog, one where you’re a high school student, one where you were in a car crash and woke up 1000 years later(??), one where you play as a tiny person living in the walls of regular sized people in the vein of the Borrowers (which I am actually very excited for), and there was one thread that wasn’t even a WIP just a thread about offering to help authors with ROs which would probably be more appropriate in the #game-development:writing-and-content category (but it’s from 2013 so I’m not gonna move it).

There were four results, none of which resemble the game mentioned in the devblog. Two of the results were for the same game (one was an update) that has four protagonists but whose premise I have trouble identifying, another one is a cyberpunk game, and a final thread that is collection of smaller games none of which resemble the premise or setting of the game we’re looking for.
I think it might be hidden or deleted but I am kind of sure Abe is right and that the Deliverance they linked is the correct one. They even have a dashingdon link over there. Also it fits your description I think?
Edit: I am very sure I’ve seen and played this before. I swear I’ve seen it before on the forums here so I guess the topic was deleted some time ago but hey! It’s still being worked on so that’s good news! That’s if it’s the correct one anyway but still.
The thread was how I even learned of the WIP initially, so it must be deleted now. I spent about a week and a half trying to remember the WIPs name, and I knew it was a decently recent one; this side of the new year at least. If I didn’t have it bookmarked, I would never have found it without conceding I needed to come to this thread. Good to know I’m not the only one who couldn’t find it.
There was WIP… MC was a journalist and had some supernatural abilities. They had an aunt in a small town, and they had to go back there after she died. Anyone remember the title?
hey guys i need help >< i recently found a wip that is about a world where winged people? faeries? live and there are different clans. mc, her childhood friend, the person they met who has a dragon, and the prince who was disguised as a teacher all have unique wing color and they later found out that they are actually the children of the gods/goddesses. their world was about to end so their souls were transferred to earth to achieve their mission.

Does anyone remember the WIP where the mc is extremely sick? they lived with their father and two brothers, they also worked at a shop with an owner that’s terrible to us. I think there’s a part where we were insulted by the owner and a woman pick them up and holds them against the wall with magic. Also we have a friend who lives with their mother who likes painting. I hope this isn’t too confusing
Hey I remember a wip I want to check on but, you know, cant remember what it was called. In it you are an angel (archangel?) who has been trapped and tortured by Leviathan for hundreds of years and she even removed some of your wings (i think?) and you escape somehow and end up in a hospital. And when youre in the hospital theres a really nice guy who helps you, 2 people that harass and interview you and I remember a cafeteria scene where I think a demon approaches you as you try and eat your hospital food.
I know its not SoS: The Mortal Coil, might be a game thats moved to twine?
Sooo, I just created an account to ask for this because it’s all over my head and I can’t let it go.
Anyway, the WIP starts with the main character that seems to be a child(?) and they are lost in a forest fire, you have the choice of going into the fire or running away(I think), if you chose to go into the fire the MC
seems to get hurt by the fire but at the same time they don’t(??), they go into an existential brainstorm gazing up into the night sky, and after someone pulls the MC form the fire they seem to remember very fell things from their past and as they gradually start getting their memory back, the last one being of the parents of the MC calling out their name and then I was able to choose my name, after that the MC tells the name to their “saivior”.
That’s all I remember and if it’s really confusing I’m sorry.
