Tbh the way things ended up works really nice. There’s nothing wrong with not every romance starting the moment a character makes appearance.

Now im curious about Vera’s power. Is it exclusively pigeons or can she control/turn into other birds? Because i’d say constricting her to one bird type kind of makes her power uninteresting imo, and it would make more sense that her power can make her turn into other birds of the same species rather than just pigeons and only pigeons ignoring all the other species of birds out there. But in the end it’s malin’s decisions, this is just a suggestion and a question on her power (if it’s fine to ask more about her that is)
But then again you’d have to account for Cassowaries and they’re basically modern day dinosaurs so it’d be pretty op lol
I’d say it makes her terrifying. Just imagine if your spurned ex could direct all pigeons in the city to keep following you and shit on you and your stuff for days.
Perhaps, but i feel it’d be largely theoretical. Other than maybe seagulls there isn’t all that many bird species you’d count on finding in what’s effectively a dense urban area. Though seagulls could be a good pick if your goal was to give Sidestep another trauma, apparently.

I’d say someone who can control every bird in the city is more terrifying. Someone who can control cassowary? Even more so
The one who controls pigeons is Vera, not Sky-Raider (Sky-Raider is the other new RO along with Vera)

Crows are a good pick too. They’re the smartest species of birds there is and controlling them shouldn’t be too much of a hassle and you can autopilot them because they’re intelligent enough to be slightly independent

I blame the author for creating an itch I didn’t know I had before. The whole Sidestep-Ortega-Puppet romance was so stirring that I want to play more games that have this. The angst that it could have with the MC needing to compete with the affection of a not very honest RO. Also you get to also swoon over someone who’s already dating someone else. It’s like a game among three participants, but in this case you are two of those three. But even the situation where you get to weave through a relationship with someone who operates in some secrecy and does illicit affairs is so juicy to resist! Will they one day be honest with you or will they keep continuing their game? What I love about FH is that your actions can dictate whether Ortega keeps it a secret or whether they confess to Puppet. I would love to have a romantic rivalry between Sidestep and Puppet, especially if Ace wakes up. Imagine Ortega trying to balance a rocking boat and just making their tangled dalliance work out 
.
And as a side note, I don’t want to get cheated on in real life nor do I want to cheat on someone in a relationship. Jeez, I hope no one gets some weird ideas about me. I just love the drama and tension. I’m just putting this out there in case someone wants to question my psyche.

How do you get the Rift achievement? If I try to make the MC a priority target for Steel and make Steel suspicious, I always seem to make ortega suspicious too
Also, is the scene supposed to trigger when the MC crashes? Or can you get it if you abandon the puppet im the crash?
You need:
- “steel_clue” (a hidden stat that tracks Steel’s suspicions) at 40 or more
- (villainsteel_relationship = “opponent” ) or (villainsteel_relationship = “priority”)
- “oc” (a hidden stat that tracks Ortega’s suspicions about the villain) at 50 or less (if you have more than 50 Ortega will know you’re the villain)
- Crash as Sidestep and remain in Sidestep’s body
You can’t have:
- “massacre” tag active (have killed a lot of people at the same time)
- “knownkill” tag active (have killed openly), ruthlessness at 30 or more and “repentkill” tag inactive (haven’t repented about killing)
If you meet the requirements Ortega will tell you that Steel thinks you’re the villain, and Ortega will ask if you’re the villain, choose (#“What are you talking about?” I feign ignorance.) and you should get the achievement.
If you keep having problems raising “steel_clue” while keeping “oc” low you can use this guide (created by kitbug) that shows you which choices increase or decrease them.
