It seems that the second week blues are finally catching up with me
Part of the problem is probably the speed at which I’ve been writing.
I’ve somehow gotten ahead of the part of the story that I had somewhat planned out, and now I’m sorta lost. Does anyone have any ideas about how to deal with this? Some advice would be really helpful right about now.
You’re already at 35K, so don’t stress about rushing forward too much. But I’d say it’s important to have a firm idea of what you want to do next with the story - if not, you’re going to charge forward, make a bunch of mistakes, and end up deleting half of what you write anyway.
Take a day off. Do something fun for a bit, recharge your batteries. Then come back and plan the next part of the story. Tomorrow - or the day after tomorrow - get back on with the writing.
My wordcount for the day is 4013, mainly to make up for the day I wasted doing absolutely nothing yesterday.
It worked though, and I’m back on story.
This brings the total wordcount to 39667, and I’m still writing.
It’s already past 12 PM though, so everything else will count for tomorrow.
Doing great, thank you.
As you can see the finish line is already getting within sight.
It’s just that school is going to be really busy for the next two days, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to reach it on the 20th.
