Would love to keep going, but Ladyirish will behead me if I do not conquer a few chores around the keep for her.

NaNoWriMo Day 20.

So close but been very sick all day so only managed a small count today. Should break that 50 mark this weekend.

NaNoWriMo Day 21 (yesterday).

More zilch. Tiring day. A lot of distractions.

Still at 27K, and wondering if I’ll be able to hit 50K before the end of the month. Am I destined to be a NaNoWriMo loser?

I persevere…

Total word count 39935. One more week! We can do this and don’t give up yet!

Target: Complete chapters 10 / 11 / 12 of my game ‘MetaHuman Inc.’ (50,000 words, or thereabouts).

NaNoWriMo Day 22:

Today’s word count: 3436
Total word count: 31226
Percentage of total: 62.4%

Not bad, today. Tricky to find time to write on a Saturday, as well. Feeling a bit more optimistic about hitting my 50K by the end of the month? Maybe. Not sure.

Word count for the day 47053. So close lol

10,095 this week. My November total so far is 21,023. I doubt I’ll hit 50k but this was a great month for me, so I’m satisfied. I’ll have my first official title finished by the end of the year.

Yay, another 50K winner!!! Well done, Lordirish. Congrats to our winners so far, and welcome to the late starters!!

My own progress… NaNoWriMo Day 23:

Today’s word count: 1658
Total word count: 32884
Percentage of total: 65.8%

Not great, but not bad for a babysitting-heavy day.

Nobody else commenting here yet? I feel very egotistical. Then again, a few people have hit their 50K target already, so maybe things are calming down. Anyway…

NaNoWriMo Day 24

Today’s word count: 5185
Total word count: 38069
Percentage of total: 76.1%

A great day. Got up around 5:00am. Spent most of the day writing. Yay for having a comprehensive plan.

Still not sure whether I’ll hit my 50K. I’ll have to write an average of 2000 words every day for the rest of the month and, realistically - real-life chores and whatnot taking up time - I’m not sure that’s doable.

I persevere. I persevere.

Hang in there your doing great, regardless if you hit you mark or not you doing great.

@Lordirish… Thanks for the words of encouragement.

Happy to have done that much today. Tuesdays are nearly as sucky as Thursdays…

@PaulGresty
It’s already quite a nice achievement you got this far concidering your slow start and how busy you’ve been, but try to hang in there for just a bit longer. I’ll be rooting for you. (are there any encouragement emoticons around here?)

:chart_with_upwards_trend:  :soon: :trophy:

And as an added bonus I’ll throw in a random :octocat:

Congratulations to everybody who’s finished or is close to finishing or who even participated.

I’ve written 15.000 words in the past 4 days. I was curious, I kept a tally, apparently I do write a lot.Unfortunately, none of it’s been for my own projects, or been story-based so it doesn’t count for nanowrimo…

Congrats on the big 50K, Aera!

NaNoWriMo Day 26

Today’s word count: 4250 (around that; I’m not counting some of the placeholder text of left in there…)
Total word count: 43327
Percentage of total: 86.7%

Not bad. Hoped for more. But not bad.

I think I’ll be right down to the line on this one. I can pretty much write off getting anything done tomorrow (Thursdays are just horrible; I’ll be far too overloaded to get anything done). But maybe Friday will take me most of the way to the 50K. We’ll see.
