Besides, isn’t Osprey a fictional aircraft where the main wings are built with thrusters and can “rotate” 180 degrees, allowing for forward thrust (for normal flying) as well as downward thrust (for VTOL)?
Did a quick search, and yeah. Quite ugly looking “aircraft” (It’s more a copter than a plane, IMO)

Well, what will the story-line be all about? I’d go for “story first, cast later” rather than “cast first, story later”.
Oh, whoops. Wanted to make sure people were interested in the idea first. Well anyways the story will go something like this: lead a group of 4 fighter pilots (including you) and: romance them( with my extremely awkward teenage-esque writing), but that isn’t necessary!, fight baddies with them!, destroy hundreds of planes, a la ace combat (without 80+missiles). Your actions will effect the war effort, though some friendships will be sacrificed…
So the story will go something like this…
The Lorean Empire has a new heir. To elaborate, a 15 year old heir. A boy who grew up, like his forefathers, to despise Ahzlovokia.
You, the player are a college grad who lives in ahzlovokia. The new Lorean heir is ticked off at Ahzlovokia for leading a bloody revolt resulting in the Ahzlovokian area becoming a separate country. Seeing as he is one of the youngest rulers on the Empire, he has little experience in ruling, so he decides it’s a bright idea to declare war on Ahzlovokia.
The Lorean military crush the Ahzlovokian army and airforce, the only branch that was spared the destruction being the navy (the loreans have a small navy, they have a small border with the sea.)
You find yourself in the Ahzlovokian Air Force. How you got there in up to the player…
So, you and your fighter wing do fighter wing stuff. You could impact the war effort, even.
So far, here’s the list of pilots in the MC’s wing, which is made up of Ahzlovokian and Entherian pilots…
1st lieutenant Felicity Sharron, the wingman. More specifically, your wingman. She is Entherian, and will fly Entherian aircraft… So planes which have real-world equivalents developed by SAAB and BAE.
2nd Lieutenant Garett Briggs, the number 3. He is Ahzlovokian, so he will fly F-16 models throughout the game.
And so, we have 1st lieutenant _______ _______ who is from either Ahzlovokia or Entherial… Put ideas for this pilot in the thread, i’ll choose one…
Long answer… I have it, but school left me sleep-deprived while making it. There are errors, there are typos, and there is a game-breaking bug in the stat screen that I will fix before I update. Sadly, school and work have left me with little free time to work on this, so I’m posting the update, and going silent for a while…

Something I noted in the game, when you’re in the city being bombed, just after the F-15s intercept the Loreans, you refer to the Lorean fighters as MiG-27s in one paragraph and then Su-27s in the next. Should probably be consistently referred to as Sukhois, since the MiG-27 is an attacker, not a fighter and absolutely cannot take on an F-15 in anything even resembling a fair fight. It’s certainly not beyond the realms of possibility that MiGs would be present, in fact it’s even likely if the Loreans have a well rounded Air Force, but a Flogger pilot would have to be utterly suicidal to get into a duel with an Eagle even if they outnumbered them by the stated 5:1 ratio.
Also, as I myself am a footslogger, it would be letting the side down if I didn’t at least say something disparaging about the Chair Force, even if they are from a fictional country. They suck.
Finally, a request. Ahem. Pls gib Super Hornet, thank.
