Alien at school!!!
Earth has made contact with aliens and has kept peaceful relations for several years. Now as a social experiment and secret recon you a young paragon of your species begins attending a human school/college ect…
What kind of alien are you?
What are your people trying to achieve? World domination?
What goals do you personally have will you fall in love with an Earthling?
What kind of school is it? Normal? Military Academy?
Are your people the only aliens on the planet?

Just a random thought that slipped in when I wasn’t looking

The Mandela effect, you happen to be in the one half of the population that remember things differently. But it is more then that, you see things more clearly then most of those that remember. You remember that killer clowns where not a thing, Korea is in the wrong place, even the stars are off. You feel if someone or something is hunting you, wanting to fix you or stop you permanently. You know it all starts with CERN, can you uncover the truth, can you stop it, or should you even try as you feel something horrible is hidden even from you, that uncovering the truth may change everything, and not for the good.

Reposting from the Killing the Protagonist topic, since it got me thinking.

I’d actually be really interested in a piece of interactive fiction where you’re the Chosen One.

It’s understood that you must sacrifice yourself to save the world, and your loved ones, right throughout the story. You’re loved and adored by all. But is it actually you they love, or your celebrity and the great destiny you have? Everything is wonderful, you can do no wrong.

When it comes time to face your destiny though something happens…

You get the choice not to, to run away in the face of certain death. Or to strike a deal with the villain. Or do something else in order to cheat your fated death, but do so in a not heroic way. You’re destroying your legacy, you’ll be reviled, but better that than dead. And when you approach your loved one, you discover it was the whole thing of just being with a hero, that they wanted.

And everything in your life falls apart. And you’re again faced with the same choice, sacrifice the tatters of your life for the world, keep living through, or change your identity, and try and rebuild a life of not being Chosen or special anymore, and everyone hates you.

And the world itself, of course, has fallen to pieces, succumbed to whatever disaster you were meant to prevent.

Torn between wanting to reveal no spoilers and also saying this is kinda what So, You’re Possessed! has been building to, especially in the third game where your choices and crafted personality will fully play out on a multidimensional scale. Good to know there is some interest in that scenario.

Stuck in an anime
Where you get stuck.in an anime of your own creation where everything has anime eyes and manga reaction stuff e.g anger veins.

You were a prince/princess/royal once upon a time, but a curse locked our soul away into a mask. It made you immortal, but the only way to live is if someone wears the mask.

Would this someone have to be somebody else as the MC or can they just wear it themself? …would a sculpture wearing it be enough?

…would a cat wearing it be enough?

The mask has to ‘fit’ and stay inplace, and what wears it has to obey the laws of physics/biology. So you ‘could’ possess a statue… but its not going to start moving, if its on a corpse you’re limited to how well preserved the body is, if its on an animal you can only function as well as the animal can.

Not sure I understand the question clearly. BUT lets say the curse killed/destroyed your original body, so technically if someone else ‘wears’ the mask, your soul ‘wears their body’. for as long as the mask stays in place.

So, a cat wearing it would work. Good.

(That the MC has to possess someone’s body part wasn’t so clear for me. I thought more of some Dorian Gray’s picture kind of deal.)

I still believe in the ability of COG to help teach. An idea Ive been toying with is a story of a bacteria from the bacterias POV (it wont be obvious from the start as it would be like playing as a futuristic trooper invading a hostile alien mothership)

Would begin something like:

Your platoon finally decends on the cave after what felt like an eternity of travlling from the mothership. Despite having never left the ship before the journey doesnt frighten you. After growing up within the cloning cells you and your fellow soldiers have spent your lives training and preparing for this day… for this mission.

The whole game would have to be writen carefully so that its not too obvious that youre a bacteria and the alien mothership is a human. The reason for this is so that the player doesnt root for the human and does all they can to destroy the ship.

At the end of the game a translation option would be unlocked allowing you to see the actual damage you did to the human and the kind of genetic traits you choose for your bacteria.

This could then be related to a real life scenario if a bacterial infection

Underground Apocalyptic Toy Fight Club! PLEASE!!!

(Yes based on the Radioactive by Imagine Dragons video)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktvTqknDobU

You would design your own toy with various appearance based stats, to make them all cute and cuddly, and this would also effect their stats! And they would fight!

Admit it.

You just knew I would put it on my “to do” list, didn’t you? :stuck_out_tongue:

Have you ever read Mistborn, by chance? You might like it.

I tried and failed to write a quick romance game about an apprentice healer in a castle. But it was getting too long and it wasn’t going anywhere and I already have a project.

It would be so cute and fun, though! Choosing what you’re best at-- bed side manners, potion making or gardening. Dealing with patients in the way you felt best. Trying to heal finicky royalty who will NOT STAY IN BED DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY NEED REST and then realizing that their wound will not heal because it is POISONED and you need to find a way to fix it, or find the culprit and make THEM fix it or else the prince / princess DIES.

And then FALL IN LOVE! :sparkling_heart:

Does it have any GBLTQ content? Is it just a male protagonist?

That sounds good!
