If everyone helps me to catch every little typo, spacing error, punctuation error, etc in beta, I’ll be very liberal with adding more costume options
@Dark_Stalker
I’m not sure what you’re referring to… I was quoting the Rolling Stones - Paint it Black.
I know ,it was the opening song (instrumental)for twisted metal black first time I heard it.
Greetings Programs!
So exactly when will the beta be?

Alright guys, you heard the boss…Let’s find those errors
At the end of the present game, shouldn’t there really be an option to follow Contrarian to get info on her? Even if the PC isn’t particularly stealthy, Origami’s powers lead to good stealth options.
@HornHeadFan I’m trying to find some typos and stuff but I don’t think I should be doing it since english is not my native language, but anyway I tried…so sorry for if I didn’t really find a mistake.
At the beginning when we are supposed to choose our personality if we want to be a brooder or a jokster…there is a sentence which says :
Of course, no one characteristic can really entirely define a person
Shouldn’t it be no one’s characteristics or something?
Also at the part before the Capture The Flag when we are supposed to describe the powers, when Tress describes hers there is a sentence:
She flips her head back, and within seconds her hair retracts to his normal shoulder length
Shouldn’t it be retracts her hair to HER normal shoulder length or ITS ?
And at the part where Stunner says he has met Mega Cat when I decide to punch him after asking why he is wearing a helmet…the other day he still says what’s up and shows the MC the new weightlifting routine as if they had trained together the other day.
I didn’t know how to explain this so I just took a pic.Shouldn’t you add a full stop or split them or something?
Although I have a strange feeling someone already asked; does the power you choose to wish for affect the game in any way (You know, Invisibility, Super Strength, Flight)? Or is it just there for the story?
@stsword, the immediate aftermath will be discussed in more detail in the next scene including the fallout from what happened.
@Drini7, thanks for the editing help!! I’m trying to avoid the costs for an editor so every little nitpicky observation is great!
@Jaxx, right now it’s just a fake choice but I might make it a real choice and assign a variable now that you mention it, because you never know if that desire may become relevant down the road.
Okay, my call for help!!
I’m struggling mightily with balancing the progressing stats/math for combat scenes. If any math-centric person will volunteer their time and brain, it would help me greatly.
Basically I still need to figure out the different results through the game and how they will vary based on a player’s strategies of either 1) shoring up their weakness, 2) creating a jack of all trades type, or 3) funneling everything into their strengths. At this stage, virtually all tasks can be successfully completed by just going with your AT’s best stats, and that is admittedly pretty boring. I need to make the player strategy choices have an impact!!
If anyone is interested, PM me and I will reply tonight or tomorrow with more details. This is embarrassing because I am a math person but even my wife (an accountant) is somewhat stumped.
Greetings program!!
So… We can expect the beta to sometime this month? Lol anyway so looking to it!! Keep it up!!

That would actually be pretty cool, after all that hard work taking down villains, I get an awesome invisibility cloak as a reward, but I guess, the requirements to gain it would have to be pretty high, seeing as you’re supposed to be the only non-powered guy.
Alright I have my math straightened out. I was very much overthinking the process.
@StarWarsMaster, hopefully. As long as the holidays don’t eat into my somewhat limited spare time.
Still plugging away. Considering giving the reader the option, after the technical ending of the game, to read at least a few of the dossiers of Dozen members in preparation for the spring semester.
Would that be interesting to readers? I was hoping to “semi introduce” some characters using this device to keep from dumping a ton of new characters onto the reader in Part II.
Well I believe I speak for us all that we would love to read more about any new characters you may have planned.
Greetings Program!
That actually makes sense. It would be interesting to see. That way a player could just jump into part 2 already knowing what’s happend and who the major players are. However keep the vilians powers a secret until the battles to make things more interesting. Keep up the awesome work!

Have you considered adding a toggle like the one in Tin Star which would swap out the onomonopoteic skill names like “pow” and “whoosh” for more colloquial terms like “strength” and “speed”?
I agree with @Polyhymnia a feature like that would be nice
For the class of the player character maybe you could allow the players themselves to create their class by allowing for the mixing of a few different attribute rather than just having pre-created player character class, But hey that’s just me still great game though can’t wait for the game to be completed. Great work.
Yeah. There used to at least be a separate page that explained them, but that seems to have vanished. I would also say that your stats are far more important than the personality bars and should probably be on the main stats page instead of in another menu.
I will definitely tweak the stats page(s) but I’ll probably hold off on making any final, permanent decisions until I complete the first round of beta testing first so I can solicit as much feedback as possible.
I’d rather have everything on just one page so that folks with tablets could just see everything on the side as they play, but I’m not sure what to chop. Basic archtype info, combat stats, relationships, and secrets known would probably be more than enough to fill the page, and that’s without any of the academic info. I like having the grades posted, and the HELL notes (I think) are helpful to players, but I admit it seems a bit clunky with all the subpages.
