Community College Hero: Releasing Soon

I love the game I played it once before now but I have a question. When I choose the acrobat fighting style it grays out all other costume choices but the first 3. Is this supposed to happen? It also won’t let me wear the thigh high boots as a costume extra. I don’t see why my fighting style should hinder my costume choices it is still a personal choice for our character.

Greetings Program!!
I have a question so when do u want people to start sending in requests to beta test your game? Or are u just going to keep using this thread? I personally feel the set up is ok but I liked the old setup for the relationships myself and plus the low and woosh is fine as it’s more comic booky.
End Of Line

For the acrobats your equipment is “brass knuckles, a leather motorcycle jacket, and retractable roller skates in my shoes”, if youre wearing three inch heels you cant really have the skates in there. However, for me only the revealing outfit is grayed out when choosing acrobat…

That sounds kind of counter intuitive, given the tight leotards acrobats usually wear.

@WaterOracle answered the question - I think the high heels and “revealing outfit” are the only two things an acrobat can’t wear. But like I said a few days ago, I’m willing to tweak uniform options at the end of beta. I mean, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do.

@StarWarsMaster, I’m not ready yet. I’ll start a new thread when the time comes. You won’t be able to miss it.

Okay my goal is to write 1000 words of code tonight before going to bed…ready…set…g…wait, I think Smackdown is on. I’ll just watch it for a few minutes.

Hey, there seems to be a bug in Chapter 5. When you’re paired with Stoic against Rain and Shine, it skips right to the Side Story before you are going to make a battle strategy with her.

@VoiD HornHead has already said that’s not a bug. The scene is bein rewritten, so it’s currently being skipped over. Same with the Combat Wombat fight.

Ah, okay. Thanks for telling me.

Well unfortunately I injured my knee but a day (or perhaps more) of missed work does equate to more writing time, so I guess that’s the benefit.

6,000 words coded today and perhaps a few more before bed.

Thanks for asking. The truth is, I’m not sure. I’ll let the docs figure it out. But I’m back at work today, so (sadly) another 6k word day isn’t going to happen.

Thanks for the well wishes. It’s coming along just a little bit, but I haven’t put much effort into it to avoid the whole cart before the horse thing.

And yes I may want to use your quote!

Ouch, is it a serious injury or something like a sprain? I hope you’re okay.
P.S. LOVE this game!

Great game, simply love it. While Hero Rise had you using powers, this game is by far more intriguing. I instantly think of powerless heroes, such as Batman or Punisher. I’m hoping to see some gadgets like grappling hooks, smoke bombs, or other cool toys to get around and get the job done. It’d be cool to have the option to have a darker MC. I would definitely want to play as a Jason Todd-ish anti-hero, just jumping from rooftops gunning down criminals.

That would be so awesome! Going Red Hood on baddies would give me such fanboy moments.

Punisher?! Oh please let our MC go just a teeny tiny bit nuts. Please? I want to be the first super hero who ever successfully got rid of his nemesis. Such as someone like the joker for instance. Imagine if batman just brought a submachine gun to one of his fights. In a world where criminals run rampant and heroes can only put them away for so long. It’s time for a new breed of heroes to rise and put down these villains…permanently.

Totally, there’s even a Batman like that. He was so successful that most heroes retired.

Actually, If you choose Tress’s group and earned a 3.0 GPA then you should be able to show off at the press conference using some of the gadgets you described (unless I screwed up on the last update)

Big decisions like that will have to wait until Part III.

Parts I and II are about the journey, which I think can be as interesting as the destination, but Part III will give the MC the choice to make some big life-changing decisions as the MC will have to decide what’s most important - loyalty, power, revenge, etc.
