Greetings program!!
So… We can expect the beta to sometime this month? Lol anyway so looking to it!! Keep it up!!

That would actually be pretty cool, after all that hard work taking down villains, I get an awesome invisibility cloak as a reward, but I guess, the requirements to gain it would have to be pretty high, seeing as you’re supposed to be the only non-powered guy.
Alright I have my math straightened out. I was very much overthinking the process.
@StarWarsMaster, hopefully. As long as the holidays don’t eat into my somewhat limited spare time.
Still plugging away. Considering giving the reader the option, after the technical ending of the game, to read at least a few of the dossiers of Dozen members in preparation for the spring semester.
Would that be interesting to readers? I was hoping to “semi introduce” some characters using this device to keep from dumping a ton of new characters onto the reader in Part II.
Well I believe I speak for us all that we would love to read more about any new characters you may have planned.
Greetings Program!
That actually makes sense. It would be interesting to see. That way a player could just jump into part 2 already knowing what’s happend and who the major players are. However keep the vilians powers a secret until the battles to make things more interesting. Keep up the awesome work!

Have you considered adding a toggle like the one in Tin Star which would swap out the onomonopoteic skill names like “pow” and “whoosh” for more colloquial terms like “strength” and “speed”?
For the class of the player character maybe you could allow the players themselves to create their class by allowing for the mixing of a few different attribute rather than just having pre-created player character class, But hey that’s just me still great game though can’t wait for the game to be completed. Great work.
Yeah. There used to at least be a separate page that explained them, but that seems to have vanished. I would also say that your stats are far more important than the personality bars and should probably be on the main stats page instead of in another menu.
I will definitely tweak the stats page(s) but I’ll probably hold off on making any final, permanent decisions until I complete the first round of beta testing first so I can solicit as much feedback as possible.
I’d rather have everything on just one page so that folks with tablets could just see everything on the side as they play, but I’m not sure what to chop. Basic archtype info, combat stats, relationships, and secrets known would probably be more than enough to fill the page, and that’s without any of the academic info. I like having the grades posted, and the HELL notes (I think) are helpful to players, but I admit it seems a bit clunky with all the subpages.
I love the game I played it once before now but I have a question. When I choose the acrobat fighting style it grays out all other costume choices but the first 3. Is this supposed to happen? It also won’t let me wear the thigh high boots as a costume extra. I don’t see why my fighting style should hinder my costume choices it is still a personal choice for our character.
Greetings Program!!
I have a question so when do u want people to start sending in requests to beta test your game? Or are u just going to keep using this thread? I personally feel the set up is ok but I liked the old setup for the relationships myself and plus the low and woosh is fine as it’s more comic booky.

For the acrobats your equipment is “brass knuckles, a leather motorcycle jacket, and retractable roller skates in my shoes”, if youre wearing three inch heels you cant really have the skates in there. However, for me only the revealing outfit is grayed out when choosing acrobat…
That sounds kind of counter intuitive, given the tight leotards acrobats usually wear.
@WaterOracle answered the question - I think the high heels and “revealing outfit” are the only two things an acrobat can’t wear. But like I said a few days ago, I’m willing to tweak uniform options at the end of beta. I mean, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do.
@StarWarsMaster, I’m not ready yet. I’ll start a new thread when the time comes. You won’t be able to miss it.
Okay my goal is to write 1000 words of code tonight before going to bed…ready…set…g…wait, I think Smackdown is on. I’ll just watch it for a few minutes.
Hey, there seems to be a bug in Chapter 5. When you’re paired with Stoic against Rain and Shine, it skips right to the Side Story before you are going to make a battle strategy with her.
@VoiD HornHead has already said that’s not a bug. The scene is bein rewritten, so it’s currently being skipped over. Same with the Combat Wombat fight.
Ah, okay. Thanks for telling me.
Well unfortunately I injured my knee but a day (or perhaps more) of missed work does equate to more writing time, so I guess that’s the benefit.
6,000 words coded today and perhaps a few more before bed.
