I just realized while it’s mostly (so far,) played for a laugh. Hedonist isn’t funny. If you’re interested in Dirty Girl. And have been spending time with her. After your final discovering that Hedonist is it offering good grades for sexual favors and DG is missing her bra isn’t funny it’s actually kinda upsetting.
I think its actually not meant for laughs.
CCH isn’t HR where you get jokes about child molestation.
I feel like we’ve had this conversation a good dozen times before and I’m fairly certain Eric hates it more and more every time we do so let’s cover the basics: no it wasn’t funny, no it probably wasn’t supposed to be, yes it was a really scummy thing for hedonist to do, no you won’t be able to kill/maim/torture him in the sequel. If there’s anything I missed, let me know.
Also by the by @MeltingPenguins when were there jokes like that in Heroes rise? It’s been a while since I played it.

Dirty Girl says that it’s creepy and such but in such an overly exaggerated way that when it reveals her bra strap is no longer visible you expect some sort of comedic sound effect. Everyone else involved is uncomfortable. And after rereading it it sounds like Hedonist is the Gilderoy Lockhart and judging by DG Actually paying attention she probably jumped on the opportunity. Literally and figuratively. But if you’re interested in her it’s disturbing. Though her being a junkie I’m sure everything involving her is supposed to be disturbing.

DG is rather over the top in a way.
I usually read her as very very smile-to-hide-the-pain. As in, she’s the kind of person who, as dull and pretentious as it sounds ‘hurts herself just to feel alive’.
As said in CCH stuff like this is not really played for laughs.
To prevent myself from getting distracted on conversations that we’ve a few times before, I think it’s best that I close this thread.
I’m just a couple of weeks away from submitting final game files for CCH2. If that release results in some new readers picking up CCH1, I’ll likely reopen this one.
