perceivably (they’d do the things i asked), i had a good relationship with everyone, not so much on michelle, i never rlly knew with her

lol, this was my “honesty” save slot, bc I chose things I actually want to do and my hobbies and weaknesses, rather than choosing things i know would bump my stats.

i think the only way to live if you aren’t physically fit enough to jump over the fence in the alley, is to have already have blown the propane tank on main street before hand. bc the smoke keeps you under the radar.

i’ve played through this game a few times, and i quite liked it.

tbh, i think ppl are taking the zombie genre way too seriously sometimes, and that’s why some people aren’t really receiving this well. zombies don’t have to be depressing. this isn’t a parody, but it’s written lightheartedly, about a semi-dark subject and a few of you are pidgeonholeing zombies into a super-depressing-all-the-time grit-fest (tho, i love the gritty ones too).

besides this, people have referred to zombie exodus multiple times on this thread, it’s pretty good, and i like it a good bit, but despite the fact that these games are both about zombies, they’re v different and shouldn’t really be compared in the way that they are. zombie exodus is more of the gritty type i was talking about.

about the characters being flat, i think it all has to do with certain actions that are taken. like, if you go into the department store after busting the louvers (and u went ahead and looted the place) kayden does some cute things that let you in on her character. it’s all whether you do things where that person can show themselves off. tho, tbh, the relationship you have with michelle/bonny is actually pretty flat, the only time you know she cares about you is when you sacrifice yourself and she’s all “i’ll make sure people know your name sheds tear”

I’d like to preface this by saying that I don’t mean to come off as berating this game.

My experience with the game was far too linear and… superficial? The moment you looked at the characters, you realized that you met almost them all before (George is the closest to a rounded character, and he’s not really…) The story was although short, fine. But it doesn’t feel open due to the little variation you can have with the story. There’s little focus on the character stats, so it’s not like the tone of the game changes either.

As others before me also mentioned, tone is varying constantly. It’s light with fourth wall breaks, but has dark scenes where you leave people to die or find a dead baby. In this game, I felt like it flipped back and forth sometimes inappropriately.

Overall it was enjoyable, but I felt like it could have been better. As a sidenote, I never played Zombie Exodus.

I played as the retired special ops guy and discovered the cure to the zombie virus. I’m not sure if you can get any better then I did since EVERY chance there was to kill a zom, I did it.
