@Rohie , can your father be Poseidon at all times or someone else as well?
Do not make me wish for Hades as the father again. I just got through this, I’ve accepted Poseidon, but… Darn you!! But… Hades is so tragic. I was also having doubts about how much he truly cared for Lavei and how much it was influenced by caring for Aeson, and it was breaking my heart!! So basically, he loves Aeson and MC differently, but equally? I’m keeping Poseidon as dad because he’s adorable, but my poor Lavei is just super jealous over Aeson having so much in life and being the son of her Uncle Henry, “stealing” that love from her, is pretty close to the last straw. I want MC to kick Aeson’s booty, but then also kiss him because
I can’t not love him. I’m not surprised Hades worries about MC more; he should, she has no clue what she’s doing and was forced into this while still feeling very isolated. But she doesn’t want Hades to worry about her, she wants his love! You’re making me as sensitive as my MC, oh favorite author. Curse you!! …and good job.
Scooby Gang… I keep picturing Aeson as Fred now. No ascots! None! And I better not catch him hitting on Calypso… Adonis can be Scooby if he’s gonna be such a dog
Okie dokie, since people keep on asking about how to get which father and whatnot, I’ve decided to make a handy chart using my prodigious MS Paint knowledge:
How to get X as Father:
Yay!
I think that all is well characterized as dads, However, I really can’t see any of them worried about my character, I only read
“you are a doll we would use in a war, we act nice for now, pretending some stuff… While we figure out how trapped you iinTartarus or Pandora’s box device”. But I am a positive pessimist, And Mythology has teaching me never trust in a Greek god, never ever.
@Rohie I really don’t think that Homer’s version can exactly be called “historically accurate” And I do know that there are many different versions of these things (e.g. Theseus is often depicted as being on the Argo, when he really couldn’t have been); as I said earlier, I’m fine with you taking liberties for the sake of your plot. My main problem is that if Achilles is the son of Peleus and Thetis, he would have to have either been born some 20 years prior to their wedding, in which case he would probably have been there also (or at least been mentioned), or to have been aged very rapidly in the few months after the wedding. The “dress as a woman” was more a counter to the idea that Thetis herself aged him; if she wanted him safe, she could have kept him as a baby, if not, why try to hide him?
I really hope I’m not coming across as incredibly fussy; I really like the game (Team Fish-Dad, all the way), but I just found this one thing to be very immersion-breaking.
I have another possible nickname for Poseidon:
The GillFather.
Though I’ll always be on team Hades! Go Darth Father!
Well, you see how there’s soccer moms? Maybe Swim Dad?
You don’t have to have literal sex to be a father if you’re a God. Also, I don’t think it would be a tactical error. It’s actually quite brilliant. She’s not doing anything too terrible, plus it’s unlikely that the Gods are going to risk all out war for a faux pais. She’s also been flirting the proverbial line with disobeying the Gods the entire time to see the MC, so I assumed she has some sort of power play coming. And what better power play could there be than claiming a character who can literally destroy everything?
You don’t understand first prologue. Triad go away TOGETHER WITH the mom to have the baby ONLY THEM where there, and all gods and Olympus knew that in that moment the baby was being made. Public KNOWLEDGE it’s like you say that Kenedy was never assassinated and live in Paris . So say Lol I am the mom even if everyone knows when the bestower was created and was voted million of times with the twelve, and I said so because I want to pissed the three most powerful gods when I am being in a proof period and about being sent to Tartarous again… Zero sense
So just played the update got Poseidon as dad!!! Yay cute😃 But I can’t get the other gods. Anyone got advice???
Go to post 3450 up and you’ll see it
I both love you and hate you for that fleeting image of a scene. I’m not sure which one I’m going to choose, but it’s really difficult not to wish that this actually happens.
So did she confess having feelings for him before he left and he just turned her down?
I would hate to lose her as a friend because my mc and Aeson belong together. Then again there’s always Adonis to fall back on.
ARGH! @Average_Jo23 just reminded me
MY LOVE RIVAL IS THE BEST GIRL IN ALL OF GREECE. OH GOD I WANTED THEIR FRIENDSHIP TO SLOWLY GROW STRONGER, NOT SNUFFED OUT OVER AESON.
AESON MY MC IS IN LOVE WITH YOU WHY CANT U STOP UNINTENTIONALLY RUINING LARGE PARTS OF HER LIFE !
I’m looking forward to the next update. And especially when and how the MC’s stress stat will come into play.
One thing (among many) I really like about this game is how often we actually get to change the MC’s attitude/personality. It’s really great for RP’ing inner turmoil.
I’ve played through the game again and changed a bit of my MC’s personality to more quiet and sarcastic (some of the sarcastic options seem a bit more mean-spirited than intended for my MC at times). She “used to be” a pretty nice and social person but being alone, on the run and constantly stressed, with increasing stress the last few days hasn’t done wonder for her attitude in general. So, while still alluring, her social skills are very degraded, along with social anxiety and abandonment issues…
Like a lot of other MC’s on this thread. @Rohie wasn’t kidding when she said our MC’s were depressing, and Henry should worry a lot for the MC. I think I’m not the only one whose MC could really do with being wrapped in a warm blanket and getting a hug or several.
My MC has very mixed feelings about Aeson. She’s definitely jealous of him (and fully knowing it’s not his fault). It’s especially how she’s treated like the upcoming villain while he’s hailed as a hero. But she also kind of pity him, for being practically forced into the spotlight his entire life, and (possible) having to create a fake persona to deal with it.
I already thought that, but my MC can’t know this for sure. That’s the point. It’s a doubt born out of insecurities and the fear of abandonment, mostly. It’s not that reasonable, but I would say understandable from their perspective. (And it’s more tragic that way) - And your right, Hades has all reason to be worried… (because…tragic…tragedy…a divine tragedy opposed to the divine comedy)
I want to see the pride when my MC mentions that they were part of the swimming team.
Well, that’s the problem my MC has with her. Athena certanely has an agenda, we don’t know for sure by now what it is, or why exactly she is so secretive about it.
She obviously cares for MC, but how she reacts when you kill the seeker…I’m not sure that sits well with me…Does she consider the MC a lost case, because of it? Does she see it as the first sign that MC may could really become a danger? Eventually her agenda is also a backup plan to make sure that the Essence will 100% not fall into the wrong hands. Maybe this will force her to do something that could go against MC’s wants, even when she thinks it’s the best for them and everybody else.
I’m pretty sure that she is the type that follows through a plan, when she thinks it’s the best option, even when it forces her do something painful. In this case to herself and - I fear- potentially MC.
…Yeah, I don’t trust anyone. (And let’s be honest Athena is not above manipulating others for her aims…I don’t think she sees that even as anything more as necessary means to an end)
Oh, he knows. Fish-Dad always knows.
Haven’t seen this error posted but in the wedding scene, my male MC goes over to Athena and Odysseus and as Athena was giving her warning, she called me by the female MC name.
In before all the Calypso romances show a scene with Calypso directly disobeying Ares because she cares for the MC too much.
I find it ironic that Poseidon is my dad seeing as I can’t swim to save my life. But I wanted to have Zeus as a dad because I can’t stand Hera and Hades is like Uncle Jessie to me.
