I doubt he sheds even one tear about it.
I doubt he sheds a tear over anything.
oh definitely not. Not even a singular, masculine tear.
He openly wept when Orpheus serenaded him and Persephone when he descended into Hades (the domain, not the god) to save Eurydice, Orpheus’s wife.
…What in case MC/Aeson (if he is Hades child)/Persephone should cease to exist?
I’m 83% sure Hades cried when Simba tried to wake Mufasa up after the stampede. Everyone cries during that part.
I-… I was talking about CotG Hades…
I didn’t cry during that part… Why do I feel like a monster now?
I assume that his dissociation from the rest of the council means that he is only on Olympus for the biggest events, thus his presence means business. So he gets a lot of respect/fear but is not as involved as the other gods. Thus a lack of pull with the rest of the gods.
Also The Dove has many significances. Love, devotion, promises, hope, peace, freedom, divinity, sanctity, ascension, motherhood… sacrifice
The first ones are good. The last one… not so much.
I wanted Bambi to die with his mom. So they would go to the deer heaven together.
I stand by that.
I must be a heartless bastard, then. I have never cried during TLK. Maybe because the first time I saw it was auf Deutsch?
very hard to take this seriously.
u will crie evrytiem
You just described Emo Mara, and Emo Mara would killing anyone who still talking about the stupid godly stuff, I really think she would end suicidal or killing the universe.
You… You monster!
Loving all the Hades talk.
I want to ask:
Does anyone else hate how Disney and others have portrayed Hades as a hateful, scheming, guy? I’ve always had the biggest man crush on him since reading P.C. Cast’s books, and it always makes me mad when someone paints him in a bad light.
It’s not like he’s a bag guy or anything, he just got dealt a bad hand in life.
I’m honestly really curious where the idea he comes to Olympus for events came from. I mean, I know that’s true in this story, that’s been established, but it keeps cropping up in a lot of other stories based on greek mythology?
I can’t really recall any event where Hades interacted with anyone outside of business ever, and generally the other party had to come to him.
This isn’t a criticism, it’s a legitimate way to keep him involved with the other gods/plot but…still, was there a memo that I missed.
That’s what you get when you cross monotheism with polytheism. Hades got turned into the Devil despite that making no sense in the original sense. (I mean, seriously, in the actual stories he was easily one of the nicest most generous gods).
YES I HATE IT SO MUCH DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED, OKAY. I grew up with the Greek myths, because my mother loves them…And Hades is just a BA guy who doesn’t like everyone else’s scheiss. :T
…and now Disney turned him into a flaming sarcastic god. I don’t see the downside here.
Glad you like it Rohie! Chlorox definitely needs to redeem himself from his humiliating defeat.
Plot twist: fighting Chlorox and stealing their immortality will be the final trial
@Rohie…;D you know what we want, love
