My MC’s not so much in denial as she just want a normal life and don’t really want to deal with all this drama and bulls**t thrown at her.
So more like active refusal to acknowledge the truth…?
Like:
NPC: “Talks about you being the bearer.”
MC: “Not listening! Now move along I’ve got an actual education and real life to catch up on.”
Then MC experiences past lives and proceed to nope out a window and run off.

Can’t you just cast some sort of spell on your pen so it answers the exams for you? Is my MC the only one embracing the awesome change in his life, going all out and wearing chitons and whatnot?
