Children of the Gods (Important poll #12306)

that’s kind of my headcanon, now, too, tbh.

Does anyone else wonders how a MC being totally in denial about being the Bearer will be taken by the other charaters as soon as they come to talk about it (What probably will be as soon as Aeson starts to talk about the Essence)? So far MC got the option to just ignore being the Bearer, but will that be possible as soon as the memories from their old lifes start to emerge?

Eh, a very stressed MC probably could become somewhat hysteric as soon as denial will stop being an option…

I think an MC denying all of this will just have a complete mental breakdown.

Headcanon: an MC who avoided magic as much as possible, only does warrior stuff, hates the gods, doesn’t forgive anyone…just completely goes off the deep end once seeing the past with Aeson.

Like, I’m talking Looney Tunes style breakdown.

My MC is very good at denial. Or I should call that wise avoidance of the problem.

Just watch, Aeson’s godly parent won’t even be one of the Big Three, it’ll be some obscure minor god like Tyche (goddess of a city-state’s fate, so her personality & physical traits varied) or Momus (god of satire who is famous for being hated by ancient Greeks and the Greek gods, mostly for pointing out their flaws.
Or crap, what if their diving parent is Ate? She was a child of Zeus and Hera. Goddess of mischief and reckless impulsiveness, forced by her own father to walk the Earth and exiled from both Olympus and Hades.

Aeson’s dad is actually Loki.

It would be pretty funny if that is the case…and then his real child isn’t anyone we really interact with. xD

Hades: “Aeson’s not my child”.
MC: “But who is your child then!?”
Hades: “Oh… This guy.” * Points to random non-named, always blurred-face NPC off to the side.
