A Booth at the Antique Show (Finished) - Still looking for a few more BETA testers!

UPDATE: Seeking for a few more testers to round out the review. Send me a message and I’ll provide the link. Thanks in advance.

I’ve completed my approximately 55,000 word comedy-horror story “A Booth at the Antique Show” and am looking for some brave beta testers to give it a read (hopefully this doesn’t unleash any true horror).

You play as the (gender-selectable) producer of a PBS antiques appraisal show, dutifully starting another on-site episode while managing the eccentric personalities of your cast and crew. Events go pear-shaped when a guest arrives with a mummified human body, allegedly the corpse of the presidential assassin John Wilkes Booth. Quickly a menagerie of newcomers squabble with increasing fervor over ownership of the body and the mysterious scroll that supposedly can bring the mummy to life. There is a news story here bigger than any antiques show. How will you cover it without getting killed and to what lengths will you go to bring home the story of the century?

Inspired by the works of Christopher Moore, Richard Kadrey, Donald Westlake, Monty Python, Gravity Falls and other, similar geniuses. Enjoy what I believe is a highly original, action-adventure romp.

Looking for feedback as to any errors, typos, misspellings, confusion or other mistakes. (I have run it through a spellchecker, quicktest and randomtest with no errors).

Let me know if you are interested and I’ll send you the link to the beta via private message or email. Thanks in advance to any that partake.

Sign me up. I have yet to read this but feel like it will be right up my alley.

I want to be in the beta!! (where do I sell my soul?)

Sign me up as well.

Getting an “div id=container1 is missing from index.html” error on the first ‘next’ button.

Looking into it. If anyone has encountered this before, please let me know if there is a way to fix it. Happens on the DashingDon site but not on my local version.

I did find this post:
https://forum.choiceofgames.com/t/new-in-choicescript-page-animations-slide-to-select-settings-voiceover/28228
(Requires editing index.html, but I don’t have access to that file on DashingDon, if I interpret the fix correctly).

(Sent DashingDon a message, in case it’s not something I did).

Apologies for not catching this before making the original post.

As noted in the update above, everything is fixed.
